My background: I enjoy rare steaks and all kinds of food, if you know about Ethiopian kitfu or Tire siga, you know it’s fresh and uncooked meat served with sauces.
With that said, I ordered a large bowl of steak, tendon and tripe. If you know the smell of mold or like wet socks, it’s a mildew stench but I could taste it the more I ate. I couldn’t finish it and my body was telling me to stop after eating only the surface. I had a Dr.pepper and the fizz slightly helped. An hour went by after leaving and my body started feeling intense chills, yeah its winter but it’s the type of chills that feel like goosebumps while also feeling nauseous.
Eventually we get home and I felt weaker and agitated out of nowhere, my stomach was yearning for help despite setting the heater to max heat. It was no problem regurgitating the food, it was not forced at all. The pho was the only source of food I had eaten in my Saturday (1/10/26). Currently it’s 1am and I’ve gotten better, as I incubate myself under hot blankets and napping through it and warm tea with ginger. My partner experienced the same but had eaten a lot less than I did so to her it wasn’t at my level.
I got pho cause the broth itself is healing except this time it was not. If anyone else experienced the night of 1/10/26 please speak up. It sucks to come to this but it’s truly unacceptable to have paid $60 for the meal.
The mango Boba tea also just phenomenal!! Even though we ordered take out the atmosphere was nice and the the hospitality was amazing! It smells so good in there too!! Definitely recommend and definitely will be going back for more!
The portions are generous, and everything from the herbs to the sauces tastes incredibly fresh. The staff are welcoming, attentive, and make sure your food comes out hot and fast. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and has that comforting aroma of real pho the moment you walk in.
I’ve been here a few times. Here is the last two times we’ve visited.
Visit #1:
My wife, daughter, and I walk in and sit down at a table at around 6 pm on a Saturday. Not many people in the restaurant. We’re never acknowledged. We decide that we’d rather go to another restaurant and we leave having not once been spoken to.
Visit #2: Editing this to add more detail for the sake of hypocricy.
My wife, 3 kids and I (total of 5) find ourselves a seat in a mostly empty restaurant. Only 2-3 other tables are occupied. No service comes by so we put in our own order off a screen, which takes a lot of time, because it’s not intuitive at all. It also makes it harder for us to order efficiently and likely inflates the bill because how the heck should my family know if we’re under or overordering or overspending because we are not the staff and we’re not trained on the menu. It’s crazy that this is acceptable. We order. And when we order, only 4 of us order because my wife was not hungry.
After one round of drinks is brought to our table, we end up having to get our own refills because nobody ever asks to fill them up again. We also get our own condiments (soy sauce, napkins, etc) because nobody’s a comin’ round.
At the end, we go to the register to pay, because why would anyone come to the table? That’s rhetorical. The lady checking us out at the register selects a 15% tip right in front of me and says, “oops, sorry” with a sheepish smile.
We take our own orders.
Get our own drinks.
Get our own condiments.
The response from this owner says they try to give good service, but I don’t see that at all. We should have been tipped if you ask me. They also say that they charge a 15% tip for parties of 5 or more, meanwhile 4 of us ordered and ate.
In the end, you pay over $100 for soup broth that is not better than any other Pho restaurant around.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice… shame on me.
Do better.
The pho was okae. It didn’t come hot so I know it was sitting there a while.
The pho was served warm. So I guess that’s alright.
The Thai Tea was watered down.
Had to serve myself water.
Not the worst experience, not the best. Just mid.
