I am a Japanese man, and throughout my middle-aged life I have eaten every kind of ramen imaginable.

This evening, on February 20, 2026, I came to this shop for the first time and tried their signature Ryzen Ramen.

Both the presentation and the flavor were top‑class. Above all, I really appreciated that it was served hot. Lukewarm ramen is not ramen at all.

The interior was clean and comfortable, and the service was friendly and polite.

It turned out to be a delightful and unexpectedly impressive ramen shop.

I recently visited Myzen Ramen in Sunnyvale, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and authentic — cozy, clean, and clearly run by people who care deeply about both the food and the customer experience.

I ordered the Curry Ramen, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. The broth was rich and flavorful with just the right balance of spice, and the noodles had a perfect chewy texture. The Kurobuta chashu was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the thoughtful toppings like bamboo shoots, seaweed, and corn added depth and texture to every bite.

The appetizers were just as impressive — especially the Takoyaki and Chicken Kara-Age. Fresh, crispy, and full of flavor.

Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell this team takes pride in what they do, and it really elevates the dining experience.

Whether you’re a ramen connoisseur or just someone looking for a comforting, high-quality meal, Myzen is an absolute must-try. I’ll definitely be back!

I came here for lunch with a colleague, we ordered squid rings, tofu and tonkatsu ramen. The food was well prepared and our server was very good. It’s good but not my favorite ramen restaurant.

Lovely service – we were greeted and shown to a table as soon as we walked in. The recommendations for Myzen Ramen and Katsu Rice Curry were perfect. Speedy delivery to table. Well flavored, and the sizing was very generous. Will come again!

The ramen was pretty darned good! Flavorful broth. Good texture noodles. Came with an egg included. Good portion size.

And their chicken karagi may have been even better! Golden dark brown. Crispy and tasty. Really excellent.

Lots of parking. For the area, one of the better restaurants for weekday lunch.

Service was fast. Seating, ordering, serving.

Small plate dinner tonight! So good!

I’ve sequentially tried the ramen shops in the area and I always come back here. I think this is a family business and it shows. It is very clean, the atmosphere is relaxing and low key. The people are very nice and service is perfect. The food is great and if there’s any msg, I haven’t noticed it. This is a home cooked meal away from home for me. I love it!

My goto’s: Amazing Wasabi Shrimp and Shoyu Ramen.

A place to go to when you’re craving a quality, savory, comforting, budget-friendly Japanese food. Our first but definitely not our last to eat here.
We arrived 10mins before their opening time at 11am – the wait was worth it as we were just randomly driving around the area to find a place to eat at.

When it comes to Ramen there is an aspect of personal preference with regard to the broth itself. That said I found the Myzen broth to be gamey and heavy for my taste. Others might call it rich, but it didn’t appeal to me. Other than that the noodles are nice and chewy and the toppings are alright.

Got the curry ramen, was quite nice with a thick broth and slightly chewy noodles. Food aside, I think I enjoyed the atmosphere more than the food, but that’s not to say the food was lacking at all. The restaurant has a cozy vibe and going in to eat alone was very pleasant at one of the smaller tables. Visiting during off hours probably helped add to the “hole in the wall” place feeling I got.

Delicious! We enjoyed the Myzen Ramen, the miso ramen, and the yakisoba. We arrived probably half an hour before closing, and were the last patrons to leave. The food was delicious. Large portions. The waiter was courteous and conscientious. We couldn’t have been more pleased.
