I cannot stress how much I recommend this sushi restaurant. The food tasted so fresh, the ambiance was amazing, and the service was so good that it seemed like our server was reading our minds. This is one of those restaurants that you always remember.

Ok, I’ve had a lot of sushi and this was amazing. 5 of us went and ordered a variety from sashimi to the spicy dragon (I think that’s what it was called)
My 15 year old daughter tried a seaweed salad which was her fav thing, right close behind was the tuna sashimi which melted in your mouth.
It was great service and wonderful tasting food. I recommend this place if you can get to it. Make a reservation and come ready to eat!
Only thing I’d say is the table got crowded with plates but it was well worth it.

Sushi Wara is my go-to destination in Comox and my favourite sushi restaurant on the whole island. Their rolls are incredible (you should definitely try the black rice option on some of them), service is fast, staff is friendly and attentive. Dine in if you can, the place is great.

Our family had a positive experience with takeout at Sushi Wara. The service was fast, and friendly. The sashimi was done well, taste, texture, and portions. Maki was on par with other quality sushi restaurants, and the special rolls were great (rainbow rolls tell a lot about an establishment, and this one was very satisfying). Gyoza was also good, I’m told. Finally, there is was attention to little details, like crisp ginger and cucumber flowers.
The website was easy to use for online orders, my only suggestion is that it would be ideal to avoid formal registration (eg. a guest option or no need to register at all would be better).
Overall: positive experience and we will eat here again.
