Online menu looked great. I was very excited to try this.
I arrived to a business called “Indian Delight”. It has brown paper covering all windows in. No cars out front. It looked shut down or like I was going to get murdered trying to walk in.

The food is great here but I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars because you have to take a picture of the QR code to see the menu and then order off of toasttab. My husband and I did that and paid that way but then when we went to leave the server didn’t believe that we had paid so it was confusing and frustrating. It all worked out and the server was very nice but why not just take orders at the table and leave a check for people to pay?

A hole in the wall kinda place. The service was slow to non existent on a weekday night when we went to dine in. I had to go to the counter to ask for someone to take my order. Cleanliness is also a little lax. Our table wasn’t fully clean. The food tasted fine. However, there are much better Indian restaurants in Austin. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I totally agree with all the 1 star reviews. The owner seems to have serious behavioral problems. Extremely rude and disrespectful. Spoke to him regarding a horribly made dish and the response was atrocious. I was happy to see a new restaurant but one of the photos showed the Indian delights sign and was extremely disappointed. STAY AWAY!!!!. I am genuinely surprised how he is in business this long.

Ordered online for pickup. Website stated 9:35pm pickup time. When we arrived to pick up the food they said there was no one at the counter. When someone finally arrived at the counter, they claimed they did not receive the order and could not make the food even when we showed the order confirmation. This is a ghost kitchen run out of Indian Delights. The original restaurant has incredibly poor service and their ghost kitchen attempt to increase customer traffic still suffers the same issues. DO NOT COME HERE THEY NEVER HAVE MOST OF THE MENU ITEMS. I WILL NEVER RETURN.

I wish there were negative stars. Ordered through doordash. Entrée was not at all as advertised. Expected rice+gravy as shown in the image but they only sent rice. It was extremely salty and tasted like mud. The paneer wrap was extremely spicy, and the wrap cover was a frozen chapati you find in the indian store. That chapati was undercooked, could see the dough. They don’t even make thier own tortillas/chapatis. Had to throw away all the food. Will never order again!

We ordered burritos chilli paneer, gobi wrap and schezwan noodles. They were all good. They are very particular about spice level. If you don’t tell the right spice its going to be street spicy. I like spicy so, I enjoyed the place. Definitely will go again to try other food.

Order was charged to my credit card but they claimed to have no record of it. So no food, no refund, no apology, no attempt to correct it, just shady business practice.
First, they are not real restaurant. Looks like they are doing business with two names against one establishment – AustINdian Street food and Indian Delight. [ please report them to state department of consumer protection for unfair consumer practices]
Second, the staff is extremely disrespectful towards the customers. They have the same attitude toward customers as a third class Indian restaurant on the side of the road in Indian.
Lastly, they prioritize order from online order services where they make more money and drop the orders form online order services where they do not by simply not charging their tablet where orders are received and the claiming that such service has a problem.
[ I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO ChowNow]
I fully expect a rebuttal from the restaurant trying to portray this as a one off and “we tried to help you” scenario, but they are false.
Save your money. There are plenty of great Indian restaurants in the areas, please try them instead, and run this non sense out of this community.

We ordered hakka friedrice, curry fried noodles,scheswan fried noodles – all items were terribly spicy to the point of inedible. We are used to all kinds of spicy food but this was awful and unprecedented – we had no option but to throw out the food!!
