This was maybe the best breakfast I’ve ever had. The breakfast burrito was massive. I’m a big dude and I couldn’t finish it. The hashbrowns with green chili though was maybe the most pleasant surprise of all. Never had anything like it, not being from New Mexico, and holy cow! It was incredible! Just make sure you like spicy food if you get them. If I lived in Albuquerque, even though this is “just a café,” I would certainly make the drive here often for breakfast. So good!

Great food, reasonably priced. Staff is super polite and willing to go out of their way to serve. Everything smells amazing. Imagine these clowns leaving 1-star reviews on a 7 dollar city cafe breakfast plate because the eggs are not to their taste. Google reviews is the smallest amount of power I’ve ever seen go to someone’s head.

Breakfast bowl with hashbrowns, cheese, eggs over easy, red chilè, and chorizo.
Is it the perfect breakfast?. Yes it is. What could someone want? It’s absolutely delicious, cooked to order, and pretty affordable. The front of house is also convenient store instead of lot of snacks and plenty of drinks.

I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. The bread was nicely toasted. A very generous portion of chicken salad with all the garnish was served on said toast. It was good. I couldn’t eat it all, tho I did my best.

Nice little place tucked inside office buildings of Albuquerque. Prices are very reasonable. Good ambience considering it’s a quick grab/bite place. People are very polite and friendly. Would visit again.

This café is hands-down one of the best spots in downtown Albuquerque. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed — and that’s thanks in large part to Jamie, the amazing owner. She pours so much heart into this place, and it really shows. You can feel the love in the atmosphere, in the food, and in the way every customer is treated.

The food is consistently delicious and the entire menu is outstanding! The space is warm, cozy, and inviting — perfect for everything from catching up with a friend to stopping in for a quick bite. Jamie, her husband and the staff are not only friendly but genuinely kind — they make you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first visit.

This café is a local treasure. If you’re anywhere near downtown Albuquerque, don’t miss it!!

**UPDATED
The Plaza del Sol location falls short on multiple fronts.

To start, the food is outrageously overpriced, leaving customers feeling shortchanged for what they receive.

The customer service is equally disappointing; staff members seem to lack the basic skills required for good hospitality, making diners feel unwelcome.

The overall atmosphere is far from inviting, contributing to a less-than-pleasant experience.

Additionally, the restricted breakfast hours are frustrating, as many customers would benefit from more accessible options.

Overall, this establishment has significant room for improvement across the board.

I have been disappointed a few times getting the same thing. I get the western hashbrowns. It seems like the cook doesn’t care about how he cooks. He gave me old mushy hashbrowns. They were not fresh.. I’m very specific on how I like them. After a while I realized how they make them. So changed it so I can have them the way I like them. I get every place makes them in their way. I wanted them crispy. So I specified crispy with Chile and cheese on the side. They weren’t crispy seemed to much with grease to make them mushy. I’m disappointed because this has happened multiple times. I hate that i am complaining I have been in the restraunt business for over 20 years. The only time they came out perfect is when the owner cooked them many many months ago. I hope next time he makes right..

A great place to grab a bite to eat if you’re at city hall. The menu is pretty expansive and diverse. There is a daily special for breakfast and lunch everyday, so you can always try something new. The prices can be a little steep but you usually get a decent portion for the price. The fries are amazing though, some of the best I’ve had. Stop by and grab a bite here if you’re hungry.
