At our Memphis, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

So. They reply, send me a link, which AVG tells me it’s a malicious website so I didn’t fill out the form. Thanks for nothing.
Just FYI. We were able to reheat the fish but the fries, hush puppies and clams all went into the trash.
$18 for 4 piece of fish AND I still had to cook my own sides.

After eating 17 minutes for my order of 2, fish and more dinners with a side of clams, I went directly home to the worst meal.
It tasted like it had been sitting all day. Totally Inedible.
I usually go to the Hacks Cross ross location and it’s always been good.
Really, Really, Really bad food. Like I said, Inedible.

I recently visited this location and ordered a 4-piece fish meal cooked country style with 2 extra pieces also cooked country style. My receipt was correct, but the cook did not prepare my order properly. The cashier had to remind him three different times that it was six pieces of country style, and he still did not get it correct. The cashier even had to ask where my food was, and the cook responded that he couldn’t read the screen.
It was clear the cook simply did not want to drop my food, even though the order was printed correctly and easy to read — I could see it myself as a customer. Instead of handling it professionally when the mistake was pointed out, the cook became upset and frustrated.
I waited patiently, but there is no reason for a simple order to be repeatedly messed up like this. This experience was very unprofessional and disappointing, and I hope management addresses it so other customers don’t have to deal with the same issue.

I pulled up at approximately 10:30 PM and was rushed into ordering by a young man who had a very condescending attitude. Luckily, my order was fresh but it was also thrown out the window into my car.

I don’t like to write negative reviews, and as bad as the service and food were today I still will not write about how rude the employees were or that the music was so loud the cashier and had trouble hearing each other. I was hoping at the very least to be able to say something good about the food. I will say that the restaurant was clean.

My fries were cold and hard. I felt like I was eating fries from yesterday. It was disgusting. The fish was OK. The chicken was hard over cooked. The hush puppies were hard over cooked. The corn was half hard and dry.

I’ve been here several times and everytime this one worker is here hes very rude,IDK IF HES A MANAGER but I asked him was the fish fresh , because the last couple times ive came here with him working , the food has been old ,, so wen I proceeded t0 ask this time was it fresh , he literally rolled his eyes at me and told me NOT AT THE MOMENT , I asked him for his name , he then started just to ignore me. And remind u I was not greeted when I walked , I was asked ” what u getting” hes bald wit glasses and lankey yes im describing him because hes failed to give me his name and rung me up on another employee registered with thier name on it , I love captain Ds but he is not a good representative for this company , hes extremely rude , he belongs in the back cooking , where he doesn’t have to deal wit customers , he refused to give me upper higher phone number and as im writing this review he literally sat my food down and walked off, ive done absolutely nothing wrong yet this is the attitude he gives to customers, I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO THIS LOCATION

My food looks good but the bread batter or fish teases like it’s bad. I got this delivered from Doordash, it was warm but it tastes off. I caked the manager & all he could do is make up excuses. They should check it for themselves.

This place was the best Captian D’s I have ever been. The food was and fresh and only took about 7 mins. The people were courteous, helpful, and made me feel so welcome and appreciated. They loaded me up with sauce which I love and cheered me on for my keto success. First timer. I will be back. And yes the grilled fish and shrimp kabobs with broccoli and a salad seem pretty darn keto friendly to me.

CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE LEAVING THIS LOCATION!!! Fasting for Lent and ordered fish and shrimp at the drive-thru, which cost me $11.00. Once I got home I found my food to be only half-cooked, both the fish and shrimp and my rice was stale. They wouldn’t want food that is not cooked all of the way through so why would you sell that to someone else? I’ve worked all day and don’t have the energy to take it back but I won’t spend anymore money at this spot.
