We rented out Sip for a Women’s Conference this week. The team at Sip went above and beyond to help us kick off a fantastic evening! The charcuterie was fantastic, the wines were outstanding, and the ambiance was beautiful. I would highly recommend Sip to anyone for anything from a glass of wine to hosting an event. A cute little spot! We just stopped by to have a quick drink before a long drive home.
I tried all the rosé wines. I loved the sparkling Cava rosé. They have a great method of keeping the wines stable with argon gas.
I loved the variety of seating available in here. They have those cute Parisian looking outdoor chairs, a long nice booth and cute arm chairs on a more private side. Accessible restroom that also had an up to date calendar of events in the area. A nice neighborhood spot to check out to sample fine wines.
I liked the flight option the most. The cost was pretty similar to have one glass vs to try a lot of options. I love trying a few instead of being stuck with just one! Nicole was very helpful and sweet.

I stopped in here with a group of friends on a Friday afternoon to try out some new wines. We got there shortly after they opened and were able to get a table pretty easily. The wine options are great and it’s nice that you can get a glass or a flight of options. Our waiter was also really helpful and able to describe the ones with a lot of information. We each got a flight and then we also shared a board of cheese and bites for the table.
It’s a bit expensive, but definitely good quality and a cute spot. I recommend a visit!

We visited Sip on one of our nights on a girls’ weekend trip. Our waitress, Christina, was so incredibly helpful and friendly. We ordered a flight of wine, cheese, and charcuterie. Christina helped us choose a wine we’d never had and guided us through our cheese thought process. Everything was perfect! We spent a few hours drinking and snacking, never feeling rushed. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we’re only sad that we don’t live here so we come back all the time. But, next time we’re in Saybrook – we will be visiting again!

Absolutely loved this place…. I don’t drink wine at ALL… So when I was up in Connecticut and my family wanted to give it a shot I said ok. Let me 1st say that the experience was nothing short of perfect. When the owner came over to me I flat out told him, that the only wine I drink is Sangria. He was awesome he said no problem I have the perfect thing for you, and talked me into the sampler just to broaden my horizon. His knowledge on wine, wanted me to like wine even more. I don’t know what else to tell you except that this place was truly such a great experience. So for someone that doesn’t like wines and still thought that it was really cool place and you should 100% try it… I dont know if think it says it all!!!! Try it
