Eerie started with calamari and fried mozzarella. Both were delicious.
Our group enjoyed chicken parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs, Alfredo, salads and pasta Fagioli soup.
Our server Anthony was friendly and polite.
The atmosphere is definitely casual Italian with matching music.
We enjoyed everything and will cone back.
Our family recommends this Italian restaurant.
We were starving for comfort Italian food, and I saw this place on Google Maps.
This is a cozy place, maybe owned by an Italian family. To start, the bread (FABULOUS) with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. And the rest is a delightful story.
Just a recommendation for the staff: to check frequently, the table can be a little rude; it feels like you are kicking people off.
The restaurant sits in a strip- type area just before the Wildwood intersection. There was plenty of free parking in the ample parking lot. It wasn’t crowded in the establishment, so we were able to find a cozy booth.
Our waiter was a young college-aged man who brought us our drinks. My lovely fiancee chose the Sweet Potato fries, while I ordered the Margarita Pizza.
Our food came after a reasonable wait. Then our experience went downhill quickly. Vicki’s fries were very heavily salted, and the portion was quite meagar. When we were able to get our waiter’s attention and explained our problem, the young man refused to bring us a new less salted portion of fries. He explained in a very flippant manner that the restaurant paid for the food, and couldn’t do anything about are fries. We both were very insulted by the man’s poor attitude and like of customer service. By the way- the Margarita Pizza was small and the sauce was not very good.
After receiving the bill, I decided to seek out the restaurant manager to voice our displeasure with this experience. We spoke to Olivia, who identified herself as the restaurant owner. Olivia listened to our sad tale and apologized profusely for her waiter’s attitude. She also voided our check, and said she would be speaking with the waiter in question. We were touched by Olivia’s kindness and professionalism. Because of the owner’s kindness, we left thinking that maybe the waiter just had a bad day and that perhaps we might return someday to give them a second chance……
