A specialty cocktail and bourbon house, House of Spirits serves up both timeless and contemporary flavors coupled with the intimate setting of a home re-fashioned with Victorian décor. A small bar in the lower level of a house – decorated handsomely with subdued lighting and dotted with antiques here and there. Clean single person restroom, 70s rock and pop playing quietly.
Here I tried several cocktails including a roulette (bartenders choice).
All of my drinks were fantastic. I appreciate the commitment to craft. I had the easter special which is velvety and fresh. A ‘radioactive’, is tangy, bursting with fruit.
Honestly my only recommendations would be service, as I would have to signal that I would like another drink or to pay my tab, when I had been sitting some time waiting with multiple folks behind the bar. However all staff was so nice and I will definitely return.
Whoever decorated may be interested by the aesthetic period in interior design. I like what theyve done with the place.

Very cool atmosphere and a really good selection of bourbon and other whiskeys. Including their own store picks. Which I found very tasty. The prices are very reasonable. The mixed drinks are very good as well.

The vibe is amazing, they come up with a new menu every season! The owner works behind the bar and you need to ask him about the drinks, I swear he has the most creative brain when it comes to it. 10/10 recommend, it’s definitely an experience

This establishment is absolutely beautiful. The drinks were made well and tasted great (Recommend the Espresso Martini). The bar staff was incredibly friendly and professional. House of Spirits was able to solve a problem I had in a pinch and were happy to do it! I will be back and I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Espresso making event was a perfect night. Bethany & staff were great. Appetizer were great , with great price point. I’ve been here a dozen times. I always look forward to coming back but the service has declined drastically. Waiting 20 minutes for either of the bartenders to notice an empty glass is brutal. The bar isn’t that busy bartenders are talking and paying no attention to the guests that aren’t regulars. It was odd. One thing I admired is the attention to detail they used to have now your glasses have watermarks. Not sure what changed but I’m probably just gonna give this place a break for a while. Which is a shame because the atmosphere and food is great.
