Definitely authentic Mexican food! Love this place. The drinks are so good. I ordered Horchata and pineapple drinks. The fruit cups, strawberries and cream, king supreme fries with everything on it is a must try!

We heard about King Tacos from a friend of my husband’s and decided to try it for lunch the other day. Needless to say we were very impressed, a unique atmosphere, and the food was very flavorful. I had a number 6 King Burrito Bowl, my husband had a number 7 King Burrito, and our daughter had a number 10 King Quesa Tacos. We tried each others dishes and everything was delicious. It is a bit on the pricier side but definitely worth it! If you are looking for a quick lunch or dinner while you’re out shopping in Rocky Mount highly recommend you stop by King Tacos!

Yo quiero tacos!!!! Annnnddddd King Tacos has it all!! Chicken, beef,shrimp, tilapia, and pork… they have all the meats. Fresh meat and you get to watch them cook it right behind the counter!
King Tacos also has drinks, loaded fries, burgers, wings, nachos, salad, fresh fruit and ice cream.
King Tacos is a pricey so be ready to spend $$$ but you are getting a lot of food.
The place is clean & neat but does have a weird smell to it, the people are welcoming. Go check it out it’s, money well spent.

Horrible food stay away; worst tacos I tasted in my life out of all of North Carolina the meat is very salty and not cooked all the way through ; the taco shell is extremely distasteful and cold this place brings shame to the word taco. Had to throw the food away.

I can’t speak for anyone else but I LOVE KING TACOS! I’ve always received excellent service, the food is amazing, and the prices are reasonable. I go to the truck about 3-4 times a week and have never had an issue. My favorite place to get my tacos, burritos, churros, and fresh fruit!

Unfortunately we had to get a refund from their taco truck, because we noticed the woman taking our order was cutting up raw beef, and with raw meat and juices on her gloves, she came over and grabbed a pen, took our order and then touched a phone to run my husband’s credit card. All without taking raw meat latex gloves off. We were worried about the safety of what we would be consuming, as she went back to cutting up meat and handling bags of food for another customer with those same gloves on. That really scared us. So we got our refund and left, for fear of getting sick. As I was waiting for the refund, I noticed they were inspected by the health inspector today, October 2, and it was a 92. That’s pretty low, especially in a small place like a food truck. I would genuinely suggest not getting food from the food truck. Not sure how the restaurant is, but I won’t risk it bc I don’t want to get sick.

Food is phenomenal !
I absolutely recommend King Tacos. I ordered the Lengua & the Tripas tacos. The corn tortillas are made in house and it was all so delicious. Yummy! I will revisit the next time I come to Rocky Mount.
