Newest Simonton Street location is HOT!! Had dinner there last night….wowsa…took some food photos but the food was so good I couldn’t wait so you get half eaten food photos! Carpaccio app was super. Had to try the pizza and it was stupendous. Couldn’t decide on lobster ravioli or the swordfish so got both…brilliant decision. Left with enough leftovers for a full day of small plates and reminiscing about the great time.
Food was reasonably priced given that it was all super fresh and well prepared. Wait staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Chatted up the manager/owner(?) and she was delightful. Been coming to Key West for 10+ years and this place just rocketed to the top of my recommendations list. Told no fewer than a half dozen people about it in the last 24 hours.
Do yourself a favor and drop by on an empty stomach. You will be glad you did!

The restaurant was bustling two nights before New Year’s Eve in Key West. We ordered a grilled chicken breast served with a fresh salad, and it was delicious. My husband ordered gnocchi Bolognese, which was satisfactory, though we needed to adjust the seasoning at the end for better flavor. I asked if they could prepare a classic Negroni cocktail, and they delivered it, though it was just okay and not disappointing. A small suggestion would be to use the correct amount of ingredients and include a slice of orange peel instead of a larger chunk of orange. The service was good throughout our meal. The ambience was great!

Amazing food!! Great drinks. Really great service. We had appetizers, seafood and fried mozerella. Wine and bourbon. Filet and the OMG seafood platter! I’ve never seen my husband enjoy food out anywhere this much. He’s a great chef at home and rarely impressed when we’re out. We’d definitely recommend Only Wood Grill and we’ll certainly let be back.

We ate on the patio, it was beautiful! I really enjoyed my seafood spaghetti, which I got made gluten free. My husband ordered the pizza, it wasn’t his favorite but he still liked it. The drinks, service, and atmosphere were great!

Lovely evening in Key West, wanted something that everyone in the family could enjoy. No one had to sacrifice their meal preferences at Onlywood Grill. There was a cheese pizza for my son, spaghetti with sauce for another son. My wife had a pizza as well as our family friend. The staff were friendly, professional and very courteous. Our party was sat within minutes of arrival, and our waiter got us bread and drinks within minutes of sitting down. The restaurant has a very warm family vibe, with a hint of sophistication. The restroom was clean, with a gorgeous candle burning. If you’re looking for the best Surf/turf on the planet, please give Onlywood Grill a shot, enjoy!

Food was great, our group ordered a variety of dishes. Highly recommend the steak for two to share, individually however, either the chicken Milanese or any other similar dish is great for a single plate. The arugula salad had a acidic dressing but was easy to finish and added a great balance to the fried chicken Milanese.

I’m absolutely loving this place! The atmosphere is great and the staff is super friendly. They always make me feel welcome, recognize me, and come say hello – it’s clear they’re genuinely happy to see me! The happy hour menu is delicious and I love just hanging out at the bar relaxing. What really brings me back is the team – they’re friendly, enthusiastic, and clearly love working here. I’ve never had a bad experience – always satisfaction guaranteed! Highly recommend!
