We loved our dinner at Calico. We tried their crispy eggplant, bean soup and watermelon salad. Everything was so delicious, we licked our plates clean. Service was great too. There is a play area right next to their outside seating for kids. And there is a big parking lot next to the restaurant. This is a perfect place to have a nice dinner at sunset.

I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese ($29) and decided to upgrade to homemade pasta (+$8).
The atmosphere was perfect. Seriously so amazing like eating food on grandma’s porch. The service was regimented, like no personality. The food was terrible.
When my pasta was finally delivered, my rigatoni was actually pappardelle. This is the easiest shape to make fresh. It was also so overcooked that it cut like funeral potatoes. Pasta should have a “bite”. Al dente.

We had a great meal here! The white bean soup was very good and my husband really enjoyed his wedge salad. I ordered the kale salad with poached pears, pomegranate seeds, pecans atop crisp flatbread spread with boursin that was fantastic. Highly recommend and definitely coming back. Their bar menu looks great too.

Calico was a great place for our family after a day of exploring the area. It was a casual atmosphere, and the service was great. Kids were able to draw on the kid menus and the portions for the kids were great. The spagetti with a meatball filled up my 8yr old daughter.
Pizza was excellent, and saved well for the next morning. The lasagna was great too. Highly recommend reservations though- it can get full.

My husband and I have been coming to Calico each time we visit Jackson. We even got married last year in GTNP and held our reception in the bar area. The food is consistently delicious and reasonably priced for the area. Trust me: get the bruschetta.

We’ve been coming to Calico for years and have experienced many new menu items over the years. Last night we tried their brand new duck salad. My wife and I split it along with a bowl of their white bean soup and garlic bread. I wish I took a picture of the duck salad, sorry I didn’t as I was hungry and it looked so delicious. And I have to say it was beyond expectations. I hope it remains on their menu because I keep thinking about it and must return while I’m up here to try it again! Amazing!
