Tried this place for the first time and the food is extremely bland. The chicken, shrimp, mashed potatoes and french fries were all unseasoned. They give some cocktail sauce and butter for the shrimp and a few salt packets and kechup but nothing can fix the blandness. The people were nice but they definitely should work on giving their food more flavor.

Very nice fried chicken restaurant. Friendly and fast service. 15 mins for fresh chicken. Limited drink selection for diet sodas, just diet coke. Would be nice to have diet dr pepper and/or diet rootbeer. Also would be nice to have Joes Tea. This is a good alternative to Popeyes and KFC if you want to try something different.
Prices are good. Free parking. Lots of parking in the back near walgreens.

I went in to order for take-out, they asked me if I was picking up or ordering, and when I replied that I was ordering, they just proceeded to ignore me for the next 15 minutes while they laughed and talked to each other. Some of the employees even walked past me without even acknowledging the fact that I was prepared to order.
Decided to leave and go to the restaurant next door after having my time completely wasted, but my experience there wasn’t any better. Safe to say won’t be coming back to any of these places

Looking for good fried chicken on Long Island? Well look no further cause you found the absolute best fried chicken around. I’ve been coming here for years for take out and my wife’s family has been coming here even longer.
It doesn’t look like much from the outside, hell, even from the inside, but don’t let that sway your decision to eat here or grab some takeout. The chicken is fried perfectly, crisp and delicious. All of the sides are amazing – fries are yummy, cole slaw (home made by the way) is great and the corn bread (also home made) is heavenly.
This is a family business that has been passed down from farther to his two children. You will almost always see one of them there and they are always super nice. Don’t let the few negative reviews here influence you, if you want good fried chicken, don’t cook tonight, call chicken delight!

So I gave this place 3 stars for a specific reason. Dont get me wrong…the food is fresh, the portions are slightly more than expected but they dont season the chicken. Literally tastes like nothing…no salt, no pepper, no lemon pepper, no nothing. Evan the fries were bland. Oh, and they gave me macaroni salad instead of mac &cheese (which I ordered)…dont know if it was just a mistake or they dont know the difference between the two. Anyway, I was disappointed needless to say.

I haven’t had chicken delight since I was a young girl. I was disappointed in the quality and cost.
Both the chicken and ribs had very little meat. Compared to other chicken fast food restaurants I would rate chicken delight last.
