We visited tonight, and were excited to try this place out after seeing advertisements. The place is basically a small bar with a few seats for dining. I ordered the cheesesteak sandwich, but when it arrived, it looked nothing like the advertised photos. The texture of the bread was fine, but the cheesesteak mixture was lacking any texture and the portion was small. It was extremely salty, as if it were drenched in soy sauce. My wife ordered the gyro, but the sauce was extremely spicy. They don’t have the permits for a fryer, so the only option was a handful of what tasted like Lays Regular potato chips, and those were less salty than the cheesesteak. We also had two Cokes that were watered down and borderline flat. The meal presentation consists of a red basket with checkered paper with the sandwich in foil. The sandwiches were also lukewarm. It was $30 for two, and for the fact that it tasted like gas station food, it was disappointing. I don’t say any of this lightly. We absolutely love supporting local establishments. I’ve done over 165 reviews on Google and the majority of them are 5-star. (You can verify this).
I will say that there are some positives. Our waitress was absolutely awesome. She was very attentive, friendly, and polite. They are at a new location, so I will extend them some grace. I think I will try their burger, and that may just be their forte. The only reason I didn’t order it was because I couldn’t order fries.
Hopefully, things will change, but for right now, it has a long way to go, especially since Lebanon has some of the best food options to offer.
With all that being said, I will give them a few more chances in the future, and would love to give them a better rating, but a 3/5 is being generous.

Our bartender was Mercedes who was great. The food was fantastic, and the burgers were huge! Our meals came with chips since the fryer isn’t installed yet, but everything still tasted great. We were told fried items are coming soon, and we can’t wait to try the wings and egg rolls like the ones at the Middletown location. We played a few games of pool before leaving. This will be our new hangout spot.

The fish dinner special was delicious. $16 for two large pieces of fish, fries, cole slaw and homemade hush puppies. It also includes a beer. Josh was behind the bar and was awesome. Chef P entertained my special request to make my fish spicy and made it Nashville hot . Also, the Grippo Burger looked amazing. I will definitely be back.

I will preface by saying they are newly open, so I am sure there are bugs to work out. However there were a few things I think could be worked on. We went here to try a new place to get dinner.
1 – Service could have been more prompt to get menus and drinks. (we were the only ones in there other than someone at the bar).
2 – We ordered sodas that were completely flat with no carbonation.
3 – The food was alright. The burgers were pretty small. The grippos burger was good, but the grippos sauce just tasted like the powder mix with bbq sauce.
4 – They dont have a fryer yet for fries, so it is served with a small bag of lays potato chips.
5 – It is DARK. We had to use the flashlight on our phones to read the menu (which is also very small piece of paper).
6 – It feels a little grimy. I dont know if it was actually dirty, but it gives off that vibe.
We said we would give it a year, then maybe come back and try again. As I said, they are newly open, so this may just be things that need to be worked out.

They took over a dive bar from back in the day. There’s still some remnants of the former tenant in the crappy flooring and paint job. It’s overall depressing in there, it needs some light. Service is slow, but they are relatively new. Several people were sighing about how long they had to wait.
However, the food is fantastic. Great burger and fries and it didn’t cost a bunch. I hope they get better, they have some good food items.

I had a Marvin Burger at Starvin Marvin in Lebanon Ohio. The burger and fries were delicious. The Pub is in a dive bar setting with a pool table. My daughter had a Nashville Hot chicken sandwich which was good and spicy. They have one of my favorite tequilas, Milagro. Had me a shot of Milagro Reposado. Chef P was friendly and fun. I played a couple games of pool nd watched some football while waiting on our food. Overall Starvin Marvin is a great spot in Lebanon to grab a burger and a beer.
