I found this place while looking for a reasonably priced sushi experience. When I walked in, I was greeted and told I could sit wherever I liked. I chose a seat at the bar near the entrance, closest to the conveyor belt. A host approached and asked what I would like to drink. I ordered green tea and was brought a small 3–4 oz cup. Shortly after sitting down, I found several pieces of toro sashimi nigiri on the belt and helped myself to them. The selection of nigiri on the conveyor was fairly limited, though I did notice a couple at the bar ordering several pieces of seared toro directly from the chef. While eating, I enjoyed watching the chef prepare food. I also tried some sunomono and a few house rolls. The rice-to-ingredient ratio was very good, and the food quality overall was solid despite lacking peak freshness. My biggest disappointment was the limited variety of sushi circulating on the belt, though the option to request items helped make up for that.

Service, however, was lacking. The chefs and wait staff were largely inattentive unless someone specifically asked for something. No one came around to check on the guests. I ran out of tea and looked around, hoping someone would notice, but my nonverbal cues went unnoticed. Staff members were openly chatting among themselves in front of customers, and the host seemed more focused on his phone than on the dining area. When I was ready to leave, I eventually had to walk up to the register to get someone’s attention.

Overall, the food quality was good but not exceptional. I would visit again mainly because of the price and the variety of dishes available. However, I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting attentive service, as that was noticeably lacking. That said, the restaurant has potential if it improves its customer service.

This place wasn’t bad. Not my favorite of belt sushi but not the worst. It’s my husband’s favorite. We left with full bellys so I can’t complain.

Went here as a dinner date with my beloved and wasn’t remotely impressed with the service. Should have paid more attention to reviews. Service was sub-par and atmosphere was loud and erratic. Requested a couple plates and waited a whole thirty to forty minutes just to get them because they apparently forgot what we wanted. On top of everything, I requested a volcano roll to try their take on it and the head chef seemed to not be pleased, dropping a plate into the dirty sink and saying something frustratedly in his own language. They used said dirty plate for my dish and hurriedly microwaved my volcano roll and served it. My lady stopped me from taking it thankfully and we proceeded to eat a bowl of edamame and leave. Won’t ever be going back. I’ll make the drive to SushiHana from now on. Dishonorable service gets a dishonorable review.

You’re lucky your food is better than your service.

Great sushi bar with affordable prices and really tasty food. Everything is always fresh, portions are generous, and the quality is consistently good. We come here often and never leave disappointed!

Food was decent but not amazing, I’ve had better sushi at Sushi Hana. The service was very minimal, the server girl who works there was hiding in the back most of the time texting on her phone, she also had a habit of talking very loudly across the room to her coworkers. The worst part was my partner ordered a volcano roll which I guess is served hot, and the chef grabbed the plate off the conveyer belt and accidentally dropped it into the sink, I saw him pick up the roll of sushi, put it back on the plate and put a bunch of sauce over it and microwaved it. When we got the plate the plate itself was covered in food bits and some weird oil, I took it from my partner and immediately took it to the waitress to have it comped. After that the waitress told the chef what I had said and they both laughed at me, jokes on them I understand their language. We will not be going back.

Conveniently located across from the Vancouver Mall. Easy parking. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The prices were fair. The food was fresh and rotated around every four minutes. My only complaint is the dishes weren’t labeled, so I kept having to ask the server to help me find the dishes I wanted. I’ll be back!

The sushi was phenomenal. Everything was super fresh and rich in flavor. They had about 5 people working, two making sushi and the other 3 greeting guests, taking orders, refilling drinks etc. I did not get offered a water refill and I wanted to order things that were not on the conveyor belt and that took a long time. No one came to check on us, I had to flag someone down to be able to order. I gave it a 4/5 because I can forgive the bad service for the delicious food. It just was a bit off putting. I would come back, maybe in the late afternoon when the staff has had their coffee and are more alert. I’d say avoid the first open hour.

I used to love this place. The young female waitress has gotten too comfortable, she’s extremely talkative with her coworkers and constantly on her phone which in turn means she’s ignoring customers. She laughs and yells/talks across the room to her coworkers in her native language and it feels as if she’s complaining or gossiping the entire time. It makes for a very uncomfortable feeling. Today was so horrible I couldn’t believe it. Usually a little chatter amongst coworkers is totally fine but I couldn’t even enjoy my meal. When I looked around, I could see it on the other patrons faces as well. One lady with her daughter had to send her daughter over to the waitress twice to ask for something since she doesn’t check on anyone.

Just right next to the Vancouver Mall. Location is awesome. Sushi is fresh we went to there Saturday lunchtime. Shrimp tempura Ramen is awesome. My 2 year old baby love to Ramen broth. They have soda(root beer, sprite,Pepsi and etc) if you wan you can order sashimi too. Facility is clean, just no diapers changing station inside restroom and not clean toilets that is an error but foods are good. And service is awesome.

Beware when ordering to go and make sure to check your order once given. 3 times now I have had missing items from my order although I paid for said items and didnt realize the items were missing until I got home. Restaurant is very dirty and the floors and baseboards are disgusting.
