Truly the only downside is that if you don’t live out east, it is a little field trip to get there. HOWEVER, it is absolutely worth it. The setting is beautiful inside the beach house, and you go straight inside to the back area with a few tables and ambient lighting. The food is a celebration of the North Folk, and the farms on Long Island, from the only snail purveyor in the US to a woman who makes a selection small little bread loafs just for PawPaw – even the butter wasn’t just butter, saffron, and buttermilk, and local salt from Amangasett. The pricing is truly terrific for the quality of the food, which combines new and novel with recognizable classics – I’d never had ice plant before but what a great crunch and it’s edible? surpirse and the chef also did a haute couture take on pork and collard greens, with the most beautiful savory char/sear on the skin. Shoutout to his personal batch of pickled green tomatoes. I’m not often in the area, but when I am, I will make a reservation here, if I can get one – they do book up and sell out in advance.

Just attended Paw Paw’s O.G. 17- course tasting menu adventure. To be sure, my wife and I had a wonderful experience. Each artfully presented course provided a creative composition of locally sourced ingredients. Additionally, the service was both attentive and personable–we felt welcomed throughout the FOUR+ hour of this very special event. An exceptional evening in every regard!

So happy to discover Pawpaw. The food is outstanding! Wonderful tasting menu at very reasonable price. And we are food nerds so love that Chef owns the only USDA snail farm in the US. We will now be going back often since the menu changes every week based on what’s in season. It was my husband’s birthday and they brought him a handwritten birthday card. Such a nice touch that made us felt so welcome. My only feedback for the restaurant is for the servers – don’t clear the table until both diners are done eating. Total pet peeve of mine since I’m a slow eater!!!

SOOOO GOOOOD!! ~ such a FUN EXPERIENCE trying the most AMAZZZZING FOODS~ you won’t find your typical run of the mill items on this tasting menu! Each dish is curated with the most unique ingredient pairings~ things you would never think to put together but are SOOOO GOOD!! Plus top it off with some wine OR you can bring your own for a corkage fee! DEF RECOMMEND!! PS~ our menu started out with baked sourdough bread~ of course even though I prefer an Atkins lifestyle , it looked soooo good I had to eat it~ but don’t get toooo full to fast! Meaning don’t get full on the bread because the next dishes to come are more than enough to get full so pace yourself~ ~ XO!!

Omg. I would give 10 stars to this place. From booking to arriving and getting to speak to.Scott Who is our server and bartender. What a gentleman. He was kind, he was professional, and he was an absolute joy to talk to. The other young lady that was working there I just forgot her name. I’m sorry, but she was so sweet and they describe each and every dish that they bring out to you. At the end of the night the chef said Hello to everybody. He was 37 year-old Taylor Knapp. He is extremely talented. Before I forget going back to SCOTT The drinks he made were superb. Definitely knew what he was doing
The food was over the top. The tastes that were in our mouth were just simply amazing and we can’t wait to go back.
