This was our second time here. The first time we ordered pizza and antipasto salad. The salad was great and the pizza was good. I prefer mine to be cooked a little longer than what we got. The toppings just didn’t seam done enough for my preference. Tonight we decided to get pasta and house salad. The salad was basic but good, thier ranch is tasty. I had the manicotti, the marinara sauce is on point but the manicotti was eh. I presume it was frozen mannicoti heated up. Every time we’ve been here, it has been fairly busy and seems to have a loyal following among locals and tourists. They have a decent selection of local brews on tap. I would eat here again but would probably opt for the pizza.

After we hiked all day in Joshua Tree, my wife wanted pizza. Luckily Rocky’s was on our way to our Air BNB.
The restaurant itself is quite large and even has a little arcade to entertain the little ones.
They also had a decent selection of draft beer which really hot the spot after a long hike.
The pizza was surprisingly good. The dough was nice and chewy and the crust had a good crunch to it. The pizza sauce was also delicious and all the toppings tasted fresh.
Service was super friendly. The pizza took an average amount of time to cook and came out piping hot.
If you are looking for a good meal after visiting Joshua tree, Rocky’s is a solid choice.

First time visiting. My kiddos wanted pizza so we opted for Rocky‘s pizza. I was very surprised to see how beautiful the inside was and even more importantly, the customer service felt like family. I highly recommend, especially for families with young children. I highly recommend and I’m already looking forward to returning the kiddos.

TLDR; too long a wait time and got the wrong order.
We love Rocky’s normally. But this was a bad experience. We ordered over the phone and we were told it’d be 15-20 minutes. We got there at the 20 minute mark and they said it’d be another 5 minutes. No problem. Then 20 minutes goes by. Small problem.
A long wait wouldn’t be a problem if they just were honest and said so. Don’t tell me 15 minutes when it’s 45 in reality.
We finally got our pizza and took it home, only to see it wasn’t our pizza. We ordered a 3 topping for $25 and got a plain pepperoni.
We called back and they did offer a remake, which was nice. But I’m not sure we’ll be making another take out order.

The workers were nice but there were maybe 15 people in the restaurant and 4 active order and my pizza took over half and hour. When it came out the bottom was burnt and the top was mushy.
It was so oily that ranch dressing would not stick to the pizza and would slide off and picked up.
We just went home and had a frozen pizza.
Pizza here is 24.75 plus tax for a large. Frozen is 4 and papa John s is 9. It’s a local business but not worth it with the quality.

Gave this place a third shot over the year. It’s nice inside but it hardly makes up for the food. Pizza is okay at best. Not worth the price. Wings were absolutely horrible. They were obviously frozen and just defrosted because they were small, some spots were hard, and you can literally taste the tap water from the meat. Didn’t expect that quality especially on a Saturday. If yucca’s 2 guys pie was in 29, Rocky’s wouldn’t be a thing.

The place was clean and really cute, it felt like we were in an old time pizza parlor which you don’t see often anymore. We loved the cheesy bread and the pizza. The ranch was also delicious and tasted homemade. I liked that they were open a little later since we didn’t get to our Air b’n’b until late.

Rocky’s is a locals favorite for pizza and Italian dining. This is a locally owned family business not a franchise. You can expect to get generous portions of delicious made to order food. It’s a destination for lunch and dinner for families and the community for comfortable sit down meals and takeout to go. My personal favorites for lunch are the hot meatball sub and pastrami sandwiches, for dinner the lasagna and anti-pasta salads are great. If you’re new to the area or visiting the park looking for a reasonably priced quality meal give Rockys a try.
