This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. The place itself is really cute and inviting. The servers were friendly and the food was fantastic. It’s out of our way to there but worth the trip.

We’ve been to Brickyard many times. Tonight I tried the eggplant parm which was good with the exception it had way too much red sauce, which I felt overpowered the flavor of the breaded eggplant. May just be a personal preference. The staff was super busy with a large group in the back which slowed service down quite a bit, but that is not normally how their service is. The food was fresh and hot when we got it, and the fried green bean appetizer was super yummy.

Nice place! Very delicious bread and salad we ate! The lasagna was so so good! This is the kind of restaurant you can’t go wrong with anything you order! You can tell they don’t cheap out and care about appearance! Even the bathroom was nice!

I’ve been there 3 times now. I drive from north Nashville. I love the rustic feel and atmosphere. I love downtown Franklin as well. The food is always good but small portions for the price. We usually get the same lady sorry but can’t remember names well and she’s really friendly and does a great job. However I recently went with my husband and our server was a different lady, friendly but went on and on about her being tired and how she has a bunch of kids and a handicap husband. She works several jobs to make ends meet. With that being said I totally feel for her however I thought it was inappropriate and unprofessional. We heard her give the same story to all her tables. It definitely ruined the moid we were hoping for. We tipped her accordingly no more no less. We will most likely be back but will make sure we don’t sit in her section!

While passing through Franklin KY we ate dinner at this lovely, quaint restaurant. The atmosphere and decor was so historic and interesting with local artists’ work displayed.

Our server, Jacqueline, was very helpful with menu choices. The food was very good and so reasonably priced. The portions were the perfect size. The jambalaya was flavorful and not too much spice. The Mediterranean salad was fresh and had a great combination of items. I added blackened shrimp and the portion was generous and well seasoned. The cocktails were superb!

I hope we pass through again sometime soon so we can eat there again. Great place!!! Highly recommend.

This place never disappoints! We stopped in today and to find out we were an hour early for the dinner menu. We specifically came for the champagne chicken so were sad to see we were to early to order it. Our server (and I wish I could remember her name as she was amazing, but my memory has failed me at the moment while in this food coma ) ran to the kitchen and ask the chef if it was possible to make it early. He kindly obliged. It was served along side of a rice, broccoli and cheese casserole and pan fried potatoes.
We also had their fried calamari, and fried greenbeans. I can’t forget our fill of their complimentary bread. We decided to get the bread pudding to go since we could barely move after dinner. To be honest, we had to open that container and eat some before even leaving the parking lot!
Brickyard Cafe has quickly moved up to the top of our favorite places to eat. The food, outstanding. The service, amazing. The atmosphere, cozy. The prices, extremely reasonable especially for the quality you are getting.
Stop by, you will be glad you did!

We stumbled across Brickyard thanks to Google maps. We arrived at about 1:40 on a Sunday. Very unique, well decorated, and peaceful atmosphere with a very friendly staff.

My wife and I both ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo w/ blackened chicken. It was the perfect temperature upon arrival, a plentiful portion, and very delicious. The pre-meal bread and olive oil dip made a great addition to the overall meal.

We will most definitely return and will be bringing friends and family with us. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My pictures don’t do it justice, I took them quickly, as I was hungry.

Last night at Brickyard, Jimmy cooked me a steak that I’m still thinking about. It was cooked exactly how a steak should be — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. You can tell when someone really loves what they do, and Jimmy’s food proves it. That steak didn’t just fill me up, it made my whole night better. Please give that man his credit — he earned it.

I made a long drive to feed my Firework addiction and stopped here, random choice, and was super pleased I did.

Cool brick and hardwood floor older building with a dining room and separate bar area.

Small beer selection, good bourbon choices and a diverse but simple menu.

I didn’t get my servers name but she was awesome and I got her fave – Lasagna that I paired with a local pale ale.

Nice and cheesy, pasta cooked well and a little parm for on top and Bam! a great meal.

Here’s the Breakdown:

Solid grub with great service in a killer old building +5 stars.

I’d go back for sure.
