Kenny and his crew are amazing! Shayna is awesome and they’re always so friendly and they want to make every customer happy with their service! They’re so much better than the other sonic! If this Sonic does not bring back Its former quality, it will not survive much longer. The food quality has plummeted over the last year, and it was not the best to start. The food itself has not changed very much in the previous twenty years. So, in my opinion, it must be the staff. Pay your employees enough to care or hire some that will.

I wanted to take a special moment to recognize this Sonic. I don’t normally review fast-food places but I will for this. The other day I visited due to me being hungry, but also because I felt unwell. Not to share too much personal info but I started on new BP medicine the day prior and I’ll just say this, its been rough adjusting. If you’ve ever changed BP meds, they can feel like a train wreck rather than make you feel better, as you adjust. Well, I must have shown how awful I felt, coupled with me having issues with my card on the mobile app (it just wouldn’t go through and has been a common theme with the tech payment lately). A young man, in his 30s I’d say, he came out to check on me. I was there for about 15 min or so and just simply struggling. He showed so much compassion and concern. The display of humanity in that moment was truly heartfelt. In a world full of hustle and bustle. We easily get distracted with just doing our jobs or completing the next tasks. This man took the time to come check on me and it was very humbling. Thank you, because I indeed wasn’t doing well. I tried playing it off as though it was just my payment not going through but truthfully I was feeling pretty ill that that. Thank you for that unwavering display of humanity. We need more people like you in this world.

We don’t normally eat here but do enjoy their milkshakes. We capitalized on their “FUN. 99” which are all dollar ninety nine deals. We ordered a Chili Cheese Coney. Quarter Pound Double Cheeseburger. Small Tots and of course a Classic Chocolate Shake. We received small fries at $2.49 instead of Small Tots and we liked them even though they were small like bits and pieces. The Quarter Pound Double Cheeseburger was tasty and did taste like good quality beef but was not stacked anywhere closely resembling the picture that was on the billboard right in front of us the whole time we were eating it. The Chili Cheese Coney was something that we would never order again even if the price was half of the sale price. It tasted like the cheapest hotdogs we have ever had. The buns mushed even attempting to pick it up, it broke apart. The Chili Cheese Coney was messy. A large part of it was stuck in the container and the meat didn’t taste like any quality dog especially a premium beef hot dog.
The area was well kept and clean.
The service was fantastic and the food was hot and those things are nice but all buns need a lot of work in our opinion, and the Chili Cheese Coney, well…Yuk !
