We had two beers, cabono sandwich, burger, Cobb salad and pub nachos. The beers were great, the sandwich, burger and salad were pretty good too, but the nachos were as basic as you can get. Think ballpark nachos at $16.00. Chips out of a bag, queso cheese (might be out of a can), pico de gallo, and a dollop of sour cream. If we go back in the future, I would order everything again, except for the nachos. As for the service, it’s basically a bar that serves decent food. You order everything at the bar, and they send the food to your table, so there’s not much real service, but the people doing it were very nice. Considering there’s no table service, and you’re expected to clear your table, their prices seem a little high compared to other restaurants that have service workers perform these tasks. Would I go back? The short answer is yes, but the higher prices won’t make me feel like I received a great value doing so.

Great locally brewed beer and fun cocktails. I crave the sweet heat pizza, but all the sandwiches and appetizers I’ve had were great. Friendly service, cool patio and atmosphere. Kid and dog friendly! I brought in my baby in a car seat and they offered a little cot to bring her up higher to table height- very accommodating!

Great food and service. Very casual atmosphere. There is a sign at the entrances that explains very clearly how seating and ordering works, which was super helpful as we’ve been other places that don’t state so and you’re left looking around like an idiot. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Our family of 4 had no problem ordering from the menu with a variety of plates for each palate. Highly recommend if you’re in Mckinleyville.

Great food, friendly service, and easy parking. They have indoor seating, outdoor patio, and covered beer garden—all with a really nice aesthetic. My salad was super fresh with delicious chicken and we loved their burgers. Staff is always friendly and great with recommendations. A must-visit!

Review: had a cheese steak of sorts, it was ok. There were gnats which wasn’t great. Food TAT was ok. The raspberry lambic wasn’t good & they had a pretty small selection of beers at that. Nothing against them, I’d just skip this & go to Arcata for other options.

Six Rivers brewery is situated at the top of a hill looking towards the Pacific Ocean in the distance. There is indoor, outoor and bar seating. The patio is kid friendly and pet friendly. The food is top notch and continues to satisfy time after time. My favorite on the new menu is the devine swine pasta; I’ve had it 3 or 4 times now. It is a corkscrew pasta with creamy pesto sauce, a couple strips of pork belly, and a slice of garlic toast. They also have bar fries that can be ordered with fresh garlic added on top, they’re the best garlic fries I think I’ve ever had; very spicy! The service can be hit or miss depending on how busy they are, and table service is extremely limited after your food is delivered. The bar is the only place to order food or drinks, so the queue can be 5-10 minutes at times, even if you’ve been there for a bit and want to order more. I like that they change up their menu a couple times per year, it gives me new things to try.

Update: I’ve been coming here for years now, and the garlic fries don’t get better than this! The service is great, and they are constantly changing up their beer offerings, and they continue to update their menu a few times each year. I’ll keep coming back!

Consistent service and quality with a good selection of food and drinks with a great sunset view. Only comment is that some of the food is a bit heavy and the tuna melt, while tasty, had a “cat food” feel. A pickle, celery, or other crunch would be an improvement for that sandwich. Will be back for sure!

The good stuff first: I like knowing where my hamburger beef is sourced from, and this place states it on the menu. There are plenty of places to sit, indoors and out. Cool paintings on the bathroom doors. They stock my favorite local cider in cans in a cooler & they have a hard kombucha which I couldn’t find on any menu, but was available when I asked the bartender.

Now for the not-so-great stuff: it’s spendy!! Two people for lunch with a sandwich + drink each ran $65 including tip.

The burger wasn’t that flavorful, and the sandwich was dry. Because we were sitting outside, I had to walk back inside, squirt some mustard on it, and then ask for mayo. Would’ve been nice if condiments had simply been included with the dish.

When I asked my dining companion why they didn’t prefer this place over another local brewery, they noted that the other place has far more beers on tap, and rotates the selections.

For me — not a beer fan, more into ciders, kombuchas, and mocktails, — to go back, I would need to know that there are lunchtime specials. Otherwise, sadly, I just can’t justify the expense.

The brew with a view was great. I got the Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was delicious. To drink I got the 10 beer sampler. Six Rivers has so many unique and tasty beers that this was a great way to try most of them. I sat outside and the environment was great. A friendly person at the next table even let me have a slice of their pizza which was also fantastic. Would highly recommend this place.

Paid $17 for a margarita full of ice and mostly very tart sour mix. Ordered at bar and bussed own table. Very expensive food for having to serve and clean up after yourself.

We have tried to support this place several times but leave annoyed since COVID.

I guess some people like it, but it was dead on friday at 5 and the Bgfoot up the road was packed.

Some reflection on customer service may beneficial.
