Such a great find. Ichi Shokudo is a food truck, but the quality easily rivals a quality sit-down spot restaurant.
The gyudon was packed with flavor tender beef, perfectly cooked rice, and that savory-sweet sauce that just hits right. The teriyaki chicken bento box was just as good, with juicy chicken and fresh sides that made it feel like a full, satisfying meal.
The steamed dumplings were hot and flavorful, and the cheesecake was the perfect finish, not too heavy, and just sweet enough.
Everything tasted fresh and carefully prepared. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to.

Oh my gosh, my fiancé and I were walking home and we walked by this place and it smelled so amazing we had to stop and try. And it tasted just as great as it smelled. We each got a bento box, I got the honey yuzu chicken and he got the shrimp katsu. I had never had this honey yuzu flavor before and I am obsessed now! The combo of the subtle sweetness and the citrus kick of the yuzu was so well balanced. The presentation was beautiful and every element in the bento was so delicious: the dressing on the crisp fresh salad, the flavorful miso soup with silky tofu, perfectly cooked rice and tender chicken with the perfect amount of crisp on the outside. I have been back 3 more times since and tried different things every time and it’s all consistently delicious! Also everyone was so friendly and the food came out super quickly. Highly recommend!

This truck is awesome! They open at 11. The menu is vast. The food is made to order, and it’s so delicious. The food is crafted and packed beautifully. The portions are big. You cannot beat the quality. It was very yummy!

Second visit here. I tried the shishito pepper beef bento box this time. The presentation of the food makes it so appetizing. The rice is cooked perfectly, the cabbage carrot salad with dressing delicious, all of the vegetables so fresh. The flavors of the shishito pepper beef were well balanced and tasty but I could have had it a little more spicy and peppery.

And today I tried the Japanese Souffle Cheesecake and it was incredible. Creamy, fluffy with a subtle lemony accent. Thank you! I am going to be getting this every time I eat here and I never order dessert. Looking forward to my next visit to try another dish. February 26, 2026
I will be going back to try everything on the menu. All of the food was so fresh and hot (nothing worse than lukewarm food.) The miso soup was delicious. I would go back just for the soup. The presentation of the food was incredible. It just drew me in, excited to try everything. I had the shrimp bento box and it was delicious, swirling the shrimp, onions and peppers in the delicious sauce. The rice was cooked perfectly. The salad so pretty with a scrumptious dressing that complements the very fresh vegetables. Very happy!

The flavors are amazing and the portions are big! I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box with a shio tori soup. If you’re looking for authentic Japanese flavors, you should def give Ichi Shokudo a chance!!

Great Japanese food. Wonderful service. Had the shishito pepper beef bowl and some of the honey yuzu chicken. Everything was good — but the yuzu was phenomenal. Perfectly balanced sweet and citrusy.
