Love love loved this place! From the Cod fritters to start off with finishing the night with the sampler ENTRÉE. It was so much food that I had to ask for a to go box! The staff had a family vibe that was so welcoming. It’s a Jamaican restaurant serving a menu of food that’ll make your taste buds dance! We enjoyed our food and look forward to our next visit. Can’t wait to try something new! They even have games you can play but I was more focused on the food lmbo.

I was excited to see a Jamaican spot downtown, and they didn’t disappoint! The entrance immediately took me back to a warm sunny day in Ocho Rios. The young lady behind the counter gave us a warm welcome and said we could seat ourselves. Steven, our server was very friendly and gave great recommendations for the virgin drinks. I ordered a quarter jerk chicken and my friend had curry chicken, both outstanding. BUT…the star of the show….my curry goat with rice and peas. This dish was life changing. Seasoned to perfection, generous portion, took home half for lunch tomorrow. Fresh meat, perfectly balanced with the peas and vegetables sides, I could go on. Had a chance to speak to the owner, Janice, a beautiful and sweet lady who is Jamaican, and she shared her journey to opening the restaurant. A truly humble and inspiring story. I will be returning soon to try more dishes. A little suggestion: Try to get there early because the goat and oxtails go fast! 10 stars ⭐️ !

Our plates were clean and the plantains perfect. Yhe beans and rice are scrumptious.The atmosphere is authentic and the staff bubbly. My mate had the cucumber ginger drink I love ginger beer. We talked with Kiki who is a regular and a huge fan of the jerk chicken and orders it all the time. I love that teal Jamaicans work there

My first experience here was amazing and outstanding!!!!! The two ladies that served me behind the counter was so sweet and super nice and the Atmosphere was amazing i ordered the Rasta pasta and it was delicious I’m a die hard Bob Marley fan so seeing the pictures of him on the walls just took me overboard and seeing the colors of the Jamaican flag and Rasta colors made my day!!! Until I can actually take my trip to Jamaica I’ll always enjoy coming here to visit and enjoy this place because I am obsessed with Jamaican cuisine and Jamaican culture

Unfortunately, the oxtails lacked any discernible flavor profile. Their appearance suggested they were not freshly prepared, further diminishing the overall appeal of the dish. Similarly, the cabbage in the vegetable medley did not exhibit the freshness one would expect. The white rice, a staple accompaniment, was served lukewarm. Considering the total cost of approximately $26, the meal proved to be a considerable disappointment. The absence of authentic Caribbean flavors in the oxtails and the evident lack of freshness in the side dishes did not align with the expectation set by the restaurant’s cuisine type and price point. Overall, this experience did not meet the standards of a satisfactory dining occasion. Significant improvements in food quality and freshness are necessary to provide a more positive and representative Caribbean culinary experience.

Miss Janice came through right in the nick of time I had a party I was hosting and needed to feed my guest. She really took the time to make sure that the party was a success with that fall off the bone jerk chicken with the rice and peas and the sweet sauce. I can’t wait to go in the restaurant and actually sit down and experience the full authentic feel.

I ordered the 1/2 jerk chicken plate with 2 sides and I must say the chicken was very delicious and seasoned. Tender and juice as well. I chose the rice and peas and Macaroni as my two sides and the rice and peas was great and very fresh. The mac on the other hand was very disappointing. I asked the woman at the counter if it was good and her response was “it’s very good” so I was excited at first but as soon as I got home and opened the container I was met with a weird smell. Not sure if it was old or if that’s just how it smelled but I attempted to try a bite and couldn’t a swallow it. That’s my only complaint and only concern! I would maybe try the Mac again if made fresh but other than that everything was up to par. I would eat again but I’m skeptical about the sides.

First time here, so I didn’t know what to order. The staff was very helpful and suggested I try the jerk chicken with beans and rice and veggies I’ve had rice and beans at other places, but this was different, in a good way. I also ordered 3 jerk wings they were the perfect size and flavorful. They also gave me a side of mango jerk sauce that sauce was off the chain, I will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu
