Went here about 45 minutes before closing and the staff and service was great. I really wanted to eat here because living in Arizona we don’t have a Shakey’s Pizza Parlor and I grew up going to Shakey’s as a child. It was such a treat and the food was fresh. I really appreciated them taking care of my family and I without hesitation. We were never rushed out and finished our meal about 8:10 pm and closing time was at 8:00 pm. I was so satisfied ☺️.

Went there for lunch and had the place practically to ourself. The food was fresh and hot. The all you can eat bar was perfectly stocked. The gentleman at the pizza station asked us if he can make a custom pizza for us, wow. By the time we were almost done the place was packed. Please come and experience this parlor and leave us your experience.

So we absolutely love this particular Shakeys location. We have all our family parties here And random weekend dinners. However, they have since hired a mariachi band and every time we have been there it is so loud you can’t talk or hear each other. I really wish they would do away with the mariachi. We have started going to the Whittier location because it’s too hard to talk. But I do prefer this location/service and food to the other Shakeys locations.

Man. Oh! Man. I had forgotten how delicious the pizza, fried chicken, and mojos are at Shakey’s. We made it just in time for the all you can eat buffet and it didn’t disappoint.

After coming here for so many years, I had to come back and edit my review from 4 years ago. Today was horrible. The entire staff was new and there wasn’t a manager around. The gentleman behind the register continued to ask me to repeat my order several times. It was very frustrating. All I ordered was a 2 topping thin crust pizza baked well. This went on for too long. As he finally repeated my order back to me, he forgot the baked well part. Again, I had to repeat the baked well part. At that point, he walked away from the register. He came back with a young lady and had her ask me what I wanted. Seriously? Neither one of them understood the baked well part. They laughed at me. Yes, both of them. It’s apparent that this place is under new ownership, and they’re lacking the pizza skills necessary for properly understanding that baked well is a thing. I finally walked out and decided Senor campos would be a better choice. At least they won’t laugh at me here. Lol!
Just a quick update. We still haven’t been back. El Cholos welcomes us.

Another update. Panchos has great food and awesome customer service. Shakeys still refuses to make it right.
I’m still updating my thread. It’s been over two weeks since I sent an email as requested. I still haven’t heard a peep out of the owner, so I just wanted to remind them that Tulsa Ribs didn’t laugh at us.
Another random update. I still haven’t heard from Shakey’s since I responded to their email over 3 weeks ago. Here’s my El Pollo 16-piece family meal that our family enjoyed tonight.

Let me tell you about this spot. Its great quiet friendly location. Can get loud at times but over all awesome. The employees are super sweet and make it a point to remember your fave pizza for bunch a lunch. food is great can be a little slow to push different pizzas out but that bc of making sure food not wasted. This is a great gem of a place in town and feel it is underappreciated. Check it out
