Pretty good food, large portions, good variety of BBQ. Had the breaded mushrooms to start and it was not a handful of little buttons, it was a full plate of large tommy yummies. That bacon glaze on the pork chops was really delicious. Asparagus was perfection, and the corn was today’s veggie. I’m not a sweet tea connaisseur but it was good stuff.

Came on a Sunday, they only serve a buffet. The pork and fried chicken was dry, the salad is just an iceberg salad with lots of brown spots. Not very enticing buffet, was $16 pp. Was super disappointed, maybe it’s better during the week

We really enjoyed our first visit to Mugsy’s. We had the ribs and smoked sausage, and would recommend both. The fried okra was very, very good! Our favorite part was probably the rolls! Warm, soft and served with delicious cinnamon butter. Generous portions and fair prices.

Large variety to meet anyones tastes. BBQ was outstanding- didn’t need sauce to make it great and the 2 meat was large portion sizes. Loved the asparagus and blueberry crumble cheesecake. Catfish was a little fishy and only 2 fillets in dinner. Baked beans are different but not to my taste, fried okra was crisp and fresh with great flavor. The cinnamon butter with the rolls is a nice touch. Want to visit again. Heard the steaks and meatloaf are really good and want to try for myself. Atmosphere is wonderful. Take time to look at photos and read some of the articles and look around. His wife did a great job with decor. Wander and do justice to her efforts!

We heard about this place from the realtor who was helping us purchase some land in the area, and she treated us to our first meal. First time to come in and will be back! Friendly staff and clean.
My hubby got himself a steak cooked perfectly to what he wanted. (Said it was way better than a Texas Roadhouse steak) I chose the grilled chicken (a little dry) good char flavor. The baked potato was delicious as well. Now the cheesecake wins it for me for being homemade and really flavorful, not super sweet. Just right. Good portion sizes so you’ll leave full!
Will be back! Already told my parents about this place. Definitely a hidden gem in Oklahoma you should try at least once.
Updated* 5/19 went in to try the Sunday buffet. Salad bar, potato bar, and an assortment of different meats. They do give you a variety but nothing that would pertain to the main menu was hoping for more BBQ items. Kinda pricey $15.95 so depending on how much you want to eat you could make it worth it. I liked the cream cheese frosting on the strawberry cake and the au gratin potatoes were good. The cake was dry. Blueberry cobbler was okay. The cheesecake you guys make is superb!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a pleasant surprise!!! Family ordered the chopped brisket sandwich, sliced brisket dinner, smoked sausage dinner, and chicken fried chicken. Everyone RAVED about their individual meal selections! However, hands down, the sliced brisket was the ultimate favorite (moist, tender, and flavorful)!! The restaurant, beautifully decorated, was wheelchair user friendly with ample space to accommodate large groups or small family gatherings. The staff were all attentive, kind and welcoming. The highlight for our table was the opportunity to visit with longtime family friend and neighbor, owner Darrell Mueggenborg ~ WOO HOO !!! A huge shoutout to the staff for being patient as we lingered and enjoyed our visit with extended family – we never felt rushed and it was certainly appreciated .

Several customers waited for the doors to open on Sunday morning at 11.
When the doors were opened, we were greeted by the owner! He was very friendly. Since Sundays are Buffet Lunch, he showed us where the buffet was located and then directed us to our table.
The dining area was decorated in a Western type theme, with pictures and wooden tables that accompanied the theme.
The buffet served a nice variety of home cooked food, a salad bar, meat choices, and dessert.
Had to go back a second time just to taste the fried chicken. Mmmm, very good.
It was a very nice establishment, and the servers were always ready to take care of our needs. They definitely were pleased to serve!
