This is of my favorite spots for celebrations and special occasions. I always leave satisfied and anticipating my return. I appreciate the high quality ingredients used in each dish combined with the beautiful presentation. The cocktails are incredible, including the menu staples and seasonal drink. I always save room for dessert and look forward to their flavored crème brûlées. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I’ve been highly recommending this restaurant for years to anyone who will listen.

My friend and I have been here a few times. Each time I’ve given a 5 Star review on food and service. Unfortunately, this time around was a real miss for us. I made 6:30 Friday dinner reservation for 2 and requested a table near the front which was honored. Thank you!. Austin our server introduced himself, very friendly. The restaurant was full with customers seated at the bar, patio and main dining areas.

We ordered Martini’s and Cosmos, while we deciding on what to order. The cocktails took a while to to be delivered by Austin. He was very nice and apologetic, but honestly he was spread way to thin… basically taking care of the whole front area plus the patio area. When he came to take our order, he gave us the rundown of the specials. Mussels were included which I’ve had before so I jumped on that. My friend and I shared the Pork Chili Verde appetizer and an order of French Fries and he ordered the Cocoa Rubbed Breast of Duck.

Pork Chili Verde appetizer came looked good, as we dug in, the Crispy Grit fries were soggy sitting in a pool of sauce, hardly any pork, just a few pieces of ground pork, a bit bland. My mussels came, again looked good but the mussels were so overcooked the meat shrunk to the size of a small almond and was dried up along with quit a few empty shells. It was so disappointing, as I have had them before and they were delicious as you can see my past photos. My friend duck was good but to him seemed small in size, as he too has had the duck in the past. While eating our entrees, we ordered another round of cocktail which again took a very long time, finally delivered but olives were missing. Honestly our server was doing the best he could do but he was given too many tables to manage. Between the food and service, we felt indifferent about the evening.

LOL though on a positive note, the table next to us ordered the Harris Ranch “Kitchen” Burger and it LOOKED Fantastic. My friend and I decided we maybe back just to sit at the bar and try the burgers.

Absolutely phenomenal! My boyfriend and I have been coming here for dinner for the past 1.5 years, and every single visit has been exceptional. The food is always superb—flavorful, beautifully presented, and consistently cooked to perfection. The service is top-notch: attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring, making us feel welcome every time. This restaurant truly stands out in the valley and has become our go-to spot for a memorable night out. Without a doubt, it’s the best restaurant in the valley—highly recommended for anyone looking for an incredible dining experience!

Great experience overall. Ordered the lamb and duck. Duck came out cold unfortunately. Staff was absolutely amazing about the situation. Appreciate the respect to the standard they have set. Dessert was spectacular.

Surprised to have eaten the most perfect filet at Rusconi’s vs. Fine dining Steakhouses in Scottsdale & PHX. The chef week menu was exquisite. From the fresh fish starters to the steak entree then the perfect finish with their bread pudding dessert. Definitely would recommend & would love to visit again!

Life boils down to a set of experiences. This should be one of them.

Been a little while since we visited this great neighborhood spot. Gonna need to fix that as this place is fabulous. Food is upscale and delicious. Service is casual, but welcoming and professional. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed.

The cocktails are good with some creativity without being flamboyant.

We had the pork belly and polenta to start. Nice balance of sweet + savory and surprisingly light despite being, as expected, quite rich.

For mains, my better half had the tenderloin (perfectly charred served over amazing truffle mac & cheese). I had the salmon. I was a bet skeptical of blackberry glaze, but it really worked. It was perfectly cooked and also had that amazing charred flavor. It was served over potato puree and the most incredible braised/charred Brussel sprouts.

We finished with coffee (legit Americano) and the chocolate bread pudding (highly recommend). Not too sweet, the combo of the dark chocolate bitterness with the subtle, sweet + spiced + buttery breading pudding flavor was outstanding.

It’s a mildly upscale price point (less so in today’s inflationary environment) but actually great value compared most places capable of this level of food.

Always good Rusconis can’t be beat! We were there for 7:15 reservation and shut the place down. We love going to this restaurant, the atmosphere the service, the food, is all impeccable. We take pride in taking people to this restaurant, especially when they are used to food in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and European destinations.

Rusconi’s American Kitchen at the northeast corner of Tatum and Shea is our family’s go-to spot, hands down. We’ve been coming here multiple times over the years, and it never disappoints—whether it’s a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary, or just a random Wednesday night when we want excellent food without any fuss.
The chef-driven American cuisine is always spot-on: hearty, flavorful, and made with great ingredients. The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, like a neighborhood gem that’s upscale but never stuffy. Service is consistently attentive and friendly, and it’s the kind of place where you feel taken care of.
It’s become a true family favorite because it works for every mood—celebratory or casual. Highly recommend for anyone in the Phoenix/Paradise Valley area looking for reliable, delicious dining. We’ll keep coming back!

I’ve been coming here for almost a dozen years. The food never disappoints. Some of the servers come and go but some faces stay the same. Fritz will always be my favorite, and even when I don’t get sat in his section, it makes me happy when he pretends like he remembers us. Some dishes change with the seasons, some stay year round because they’re just amazing. The chef is meticulous with staging every dish that comes out and the taste is always on par with the aesthetic. We went for restaurant week this time and all the dishes were delicious. Even sitting next to a very loud annoying group couldn’t ruin the enjoyment of my meal.

Was in PHX for work and decided to eat here for a table of 5. We made a booking earlier that day for a Tuesday night in fall. Unassuming in a local strip mall, once inside, this restaurant is amazing. On arrival we were seated at a table booth in the back. The server was delightful. Lively, fun, knowledgeable! I spilled my cocktail halfway through and he brought me a new one. We ordered some share plates to start, the bacon and egg was amazing! The polenta on the base with the pork belly was divine. We also ordered the soup of the day. We ordered the roasted cauliflower (which was a little undercooked and no memorable flavor) but everything else was divine. We ordered some beans, bread and truffle fries as sides and the bread was a little crunchy for my liking. We ordered Salmon and it is cooked to temperature perfectly, the scallops were fresh and tasty, the roasted natural chicken and the short rib. Highly recommend all of them. We ordered dessert, a spicy pumpkin cream dessert and a crème brule.
We usually have a rule we don’t do restaurants twice on work trips, but this might be an exception. Was about $120 per person with tip by the end and we each had a main and 2 drinks. Worth the trip from where we were staying and worth the price. The following day, the restaurant called and checked in on how we enjoyed the food and hoped to see us back again which was a nice touch.
