This is a quaint little cafe that offers imaginative, out of the ordinary offerings. It’s like something you would find in Key West. I enjoyed a Beet, Goat Cheese salad that had 20 some ingredients including edible pansies and a lovely orchid!
There’s indoor and outdoor dining and reservations are suggested as it is a small place. The desserts are decadent and as much works of art as was my gorgeous salad. I will definitely return. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was because I would have enjoyed a lovely, crusty baguette with my salad…4.75 stars!!

Amazing place! Definitely recommend the grilled cheese and salads. Awesome homemade iced teas and lemonades too! Menus change everyday and there are limited hours so I’d highly recommend to get a reservation. Great for kids and dogs

Words cannot describe how awesomely delicious and fresh the Freckled Frog food is! I felt guilty touching the amazingly plated dishes…and then you start to eat…it’s what I would picture how perfection tastes! WOW!!!! This gem along the main street in King is a must for anyone who appreciates fruits, vegetables, meats, and bread that are so fresh they taste like were on the farm, in the garden, or fresh from the bakery minutes before serving…we have eaten here twice, and we can’t wait to eat here again! THANK YOU!!!!!

We have been going the past 3 years and have never been disappointed! The food is always AMAZING and beautifully presented. Hibiscus iced tea and a salad are my favorites ( doesn’t matter what kind of salad, the constantly changing small menu ensures only the best seasonal ingredients are used and beautifully executed). I love having a fresh healthy meal and enjoying the quaint atmosphere, best place to enjoy the summer in Waupaca!

Stopped in last week to check it out. We only each ordered desert. Very pricey for deserts at least not sure about meals. A tiny piece of cake and a key lime bar put our bill at $15-16. Tasted good but not worth that kind of money in our opinion.

Best healthy meal I’ve had in WI! Quaint little place to go for lunch after a morning paddle on the chain of lakes. Great fresh food and very filling! Pleasant staff, DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!
