You could tell some of our food was fresh and some was definitely not. My girlfriend’s ribs were so full of fat and dry as could be. Our service was absolutely great and the atmosphere was definitely chill . Hopefully next time our food will be better.

Ordered from Doordash and got one of the platters plus chicken wings. The platter came with pulled pork, chicken tenders and ribs. The ribs were fall off the bone tender. The pulled pork tasted amazing with the different sauces. The chicken tenders I figured would be pretty generic but they were so juicy and delicious. The chicken wings with just the dry rub were amazing, dipped in the sauces they were even better.

Did a delivered family meal with turkey, ribs, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, country green beans, corn muffins. All food had excellent taste and arrived plenty hot. Delivery was great and driver was friendly.
I especially like their corn muffins and their mac & cheese is just the best. Their green beans are country style which I especially like. I am a green bean fan. Everything was neatly packed in a heavy cardboard box. Couldn’t ask for any better.

I stopped by Old Carolina for lunch while I was in town. I’ve been here numerous times before, but I always ordered the same thing. Today, I decided to sample some different menu items that I’ve never tried. I started off with the 2-meat sampler of pulled pork and 2 chicken tenders. I added fries and green beans as my sides. I also asked for a side of mac and cheese, slaw, and a side salad. Again, lots of food to sample! The pulled pork was great – not dry, good smoke flavor, lots of nice bark pieces. The breading on the chicken fingers was a wee bit salty for my liking, but the chicken itself was very flavorful. They were pretty big pieces. The slaw was fresh and was a nice complement to the pork. The mac and cheese was just “okay” for me. I’m not a fan of Velveeta, and I feel that it was the main ingredient, so I most likely won’t order it again. The salad was great! I’m glad they add more ingredients to it other than just the usual cheese and tomatoes. I love the green beans- they were fresh, not salty, and had a nice peppery flavor complete with pieces of brisket. The fresh cut fries are amazing! They normally come with a salty seasoning on them, but I always ask for mine without. In all, I’m very happy that I tried some different things on the menu. The food portions are good size. I had plenty of leftovers to take home. On a side note, if you like dill pickles, they have the BEST!!! A huge shout out to the gal who took my order – I asked her if they could sans any additional salt on my order. I’d like to add it came out perfectly!

The taste is absolutely awesome. I love the baked beans. My favorite thing to get is the 2 meat platter with brisket and tenders. I honestly haven’t had a single thing that from here I didn’t like. It can be a little pricey depending on what you get though.

Stopped in for some BBQ and was really impressed! It’s set up cafeteria style, which makes it quick and easy to order, and the food came out hot and fresh. The flavors were solid, and I especially liked that they had their own house-made sauces — a bit on the sweeter side, which paired really well with the meats. Great spot if you’re craving BBQ with a laid-back, no-frills atmosphere.
