Original post.
I’m sorry but wasn’t impressed. Simple place, not flashy by any means, little bit of a dump, people were friendly enough. Service was little slow at times but not terrible. Had their prime rib special and it was just ok, kinda thin, and was little cold. Thought for the price is was little over priced. Note they DO NOT TAKE CC’s. So bring cash. Not sure if I will be back but never say never. There are other nicer places to eat at Mark Twain.
The make your own salad bar was awesome. All the ingredients were fresh..
The atmosphere was great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. This is definitely going to be my go-to for the next month.
Specials are the way to go. Make sure you take the time to read the sign on the way in as no one will mention them to you. Service is good. Drinks come in a 24 oz. bottle, along with a cup of ice.
Even water will cost you $1 as it is also bottled water.
Overall it’s a good enough place to revisit. Maybe not highly recommended but certainly not a dive to avoid.
Give them a try and see for yourself.
