I dined in here several years ago and loved it. I did not realize how early they open!!! Anywhere I can get a quesadilla at 7 am I am there!! I got here today at 8:15ish. Ordered chicken quesadilla, beef taquitos, small rice. Service was excellent, food came out fast and fresh. The second I get this food in my car I can smell how good it’s about to be. I was having a rough morning but I am allllll better now! Everything is delicious, salsas are tasty! So happy to have this on my way to my Saturday job.

First time there and the woman at the drive thru was very helpful and patient. T told her that this is my first time here. And I had questions about the breakfast burrito. She told me what meats are in it wouldn’t consisted of and was able to give me a take-home menu for for the references. The prices were good and the breakfast burrito that I got was cut in half as I was driving and it was delicious. We’ll be going back again to check out the other items on their menu.

This place makes really good food, they serve breakfast all day and I love that, im a huge breakfast food person!! The staff is all friendly and bi-lingual!! The inside of the restaurant is always clean, its just kinda bland in appearance, very old fashioned look to it. But all an all an amazing place to eat!

I have been 3 or 4 times, dine in and takeout. This has to be the cleanest place in town, Every time I have went they are cleaning. The staff is well dressed and presentable. I just haven’t been enthusiastic about the meals.

I have to include El Rey in our family budget because we rely on our daily breakfast from this location & weekly take out night when we’re so exhausted from sports and school drop offs/car pools…. The food is SOOO good! Every single time. Consistency is so important in the restaurant industry & El Rey never misses. I recommend to everyone I know. We love the food here.

I previously would go to the other locations way more than the one on n.w. 23rd. When I last visited, I was overcharged, and the staff refused to reimburse me for the mistake. The manager also tried to change the price while I was standing there, disputing the price, saying the price increased. I left never getting my almost $10 refund and have vowed to never go back. For your sake, check your receipt and ask for the itemized breakdown (they don’t give you the breakdown). I had been a loyal customer for over six years, and now my patronage is over.

There were two women who came in around the same time, however, made a huge scene because they didn’t like the veggies that were cold when they ordered a taco salad or something. The team there tonight kept their cool and didn’t deserve the treatment they got from those two customers.
