Sunrise Caribbean Gourmet on Commonwealth absolutely delivered! I grabbed a small veggie plate with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains topped with stew beef gravy—and wow . The flavors were rich, comforting, and perfectly seasoned, just like a home-cooked Caribbean meal. The rice and peas were spot-on, the cabbage was tender and flavorful, and the plantains were sweet and cooked just right. That stew beef gravy tied everything together beautifully. Great portions, great taste, and a satisfying meal all around. Definitely coming back for more!

Don’t ever go an hour before closing. My food was warmed up in the styrofoam to go box. I am assuming it was heated up in the microwave because the box was melted where the cabbage was and the oxtails and the rice were. The oxtails were fatty, very very salty, the gravy was just greasy and watery. The plantain and corn bread was really good. For 23.00 I am not pleased! I e eaten here many many times and after today I will not return

This was our first time here . Went through the drive thru I got a Large Oxtails with double plantains and my husband got Large Stew chicken with plantains and it was so Delicious. Best Carribian I’ve had .They sure do know how to feed you . We will Definitely be back

The place is not the best looking and the staff is a bit abrupt once in a while and the wait time may be a little long sometimes but I still find myself here once a month, at least.

Food was amazing. My husband got the oxtails & I got the jerk chicken. It smelled amazing & both were very flavorful & tender. Corn bread was good as well. It was drive thru only. The food didn’t take long to come out either. We got there like 45 min before they closed (close at 6 on Sunday), but the food still tasted fresh & hot. Not like it had been sitting all day. I would definitely recommend going here.

Service is just as important as the food. One of the Drive thru ladies taking orders purposely unpleasant, the other lady is direct but not outwardly off-putting. Be prepared to deal with an attitude!!! Food great!!!

We had Jerk chicken, peas and rice, Mac an cheese (such a different yet interesting taste, try it!), cornbread, and spicy beef patties and absolutely everything was good. We arrived around 12:30pm.
They have so many drinks to choose from!

Just ordered a plate off of grubhub it’s pretty good I had stew chicken with rice and peas macaroni cabbage and plantains is actually really good of course I’ve ate a lot of different places where as my job takes me all over the country I’ve had better but this is one of the good ones not as much chicken on the plate that I expected but it’s a pretty good place definite would Go again
