Fat Zach’s Wood Fired Pizza debuted in 2018 as a small food cart on the corner of Pioneer and 2nd in downtown Puyallup. As of March 2020, we now offer you the same great pizza in a space where you can sit down and stay a while! Located in Sumner, right off exit 167, we hope to become a destination point for travelers from around the US – and a bragging right for the residence of Sumner. Best Pizza we have found since moving from MA. Moving from a great pizza area to WA, we have spent a lot of money on pizza and have been soarly disappointed…until today. Great crust, Fresh toppings and wood fire oven make for a great pizza. A lot of pizzeria’s in Puyallup don’t used quality ingredients and you can taste the difference. Establishment is a little small but they have a nice exterior area closed off for outdoor eating when it’s warmer. We got the Lunch Special 10″ pizza with lg. drink or salad for $13 and we were served rather quickly, a pleasant surprise. A total deal compared to what we have paid for a whole pizza to be disappointed with cheap ingredients. Looking forward to trying the rest of their extensive menu. Sorry pics aren’t great but I’ll be back for better ones at a later date.

This place is slept on for pizza. Great prices, exceptional efficiency for getting orders done, perfect flavor. We don’t do red sauce pizzas and they have the best white sauce pizzas in the area. Frequent this spot. The staff is always super nice.

Fat Zach’s Pizza was absolutely fantastic as our wedding caterer! The food was amazing—our guests are still talking about how much they loved it. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and they handled our few guests with severe gluten allergies with such care. Those guests raved about the gluten-free pizza, which was a huge relief and made them feel included. We couldn’t have been happier with their service and food—it truly made our day even more special. Highly recommend Fat Zach’s Pizza for any event!

We hired Fat Zach’s Pizza to cater our wedding day and it was something we will never forget – their pizza is TOP TIER and they really delivered on our wedding day. We still have guests talking about the pizza and they loved getting to take home leftovers after! We have been to almost 15 weddings and had never seen pizza done so it did not disappoint. They were quick and efficient, professional, and SO tasty – and we even had someone come up to us personally to make us plates. Truly the best and couldn’t recommend Fat Zach’s enough!

Super fun place, great patio. Michelle was so fun and welcoming. Low FODMAP diet options like pineapple, olive oil, mozzarella, and tomato with gluten free crust. They also have vegan cheese! Wish they had plant based meat options. My husband got the Outlaw and said it was great!

We came specifically because my husband had some pickle pizza at a wedding and wanted us to taste it… I was very hesitant in the begging, but honestly!! The pickle pizza is delicious … we had the Hawaiian, all meat and pickle pizza !! Prices are great and the flavours as well! The service is amazing.

Fat Zach’s is the best pizza in the Puyallup/Tacoma area. Their pizzas are NO joke. #NBD is the best pizza for pickle lovers. So many options available and great pricing for authentic delicious wood fire pizza.

Fat Zach’s was SO good. The pizza was thin, wood-fired, and flavorful. Literally everything you want in a slice. We got the cheesestickers too and omg… banging. And best ranch ever!!
Everyone working was super helpful and friendly, service was fast, and they were super sweet to our dog. Even brought her a water bowl and everything .
I also love that you pay ahead, grab your own condiments, and box it up when you’re done. Super chill and easy.
