Steve’s Deli is such a great spot. The menu has an awesome variety with something for everyone, and the portions are incredibly generous — you definitely get your money’s worth.

The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and satisfying, and the service is just as good as the meals. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and happy to help, which makes the whole experience even better.

Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy a meal, Steve’s Deli never disappoints. Highly recommend!

We stopped in the day before thanksgiving for their turkey dinner- it’s just my husband and I. I wasn’t going to make a huge turkey meal for us- There aren’t a lot of restaurants open for just two people to get a delicious Thanksgiving meal- on Thanksgiving day-

We had just missed the rush crowd- no wait to sit- fast service- we ordered two turkey dinners which came with the choice of soup or salad. My husband chose the mushroom barley, and I chose a salad with ranch dressing. The meal was absolutely delicious- The side salad was so freshly made and was a nice size side salad-The soup was flavorful and hot-but the star of the meal was the turkey dinner.-four large size thicker sliced fresh moist flavorful turkey. Absolutely delicious. Homemade mashed potatoes and stuffing- since it was earlier in the day, we ate half and took the other hair home for dinner. BUT We also ordered two turkey dinners to go for Thursday

I don’t know if I would get the turkey to go again because it didn’t seem to be up to the same par as what we ate in the restaurant. The pieces were much smaller was like a little medallions the end slices and almost a double portion of both the mashed potatoes and stuffing. We didn’t get the soup or salad of option that came with the meal when you ate in the restaurant. Charged the same price.

We had never ordered anything other than their sandwiches and soup in the past. We haven’t visited there since the fall before the pandemic- it was good to see that they were super busy and doing so well- It’s quite a drive for us but well worth the drive- We will be back soon

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Steve’s Deli – A Classic That Never Misses

This place has been around since 1995, and it’s easy to see why they’ve stood the test of time. Steve’s Deli serves up some of the best deli sandwiches and matzo ball soup around. Their breakfast is also fantastic — you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

My buddy and I came in on a Thursday and got their Thursday special: turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, and soup. OMG — it was so delicious. Huge portions, full of flavor, and very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get.

On top of the great food, the service here has always been top-notch. Every visit over the years, they’ve gone above and beyond. Never had a bad experience.

If you’re anywhere near Bloomfield Hills and craving comfort food or a classic deli meal, Steve’s Deli is absolutely worth the stop.

Had breakfast here and it was pretty good. The service was great, they were really nice. Food was fresh, it needs a little more seasoning and it’s a bit pricey and most things are à la carte at least for breakfast. Would go back and try more things.

Stopped by Steve’s Deli in Bloomfield Hills hoping for a solid Jewish deli experience. They have the usual staples—bagel and lox, whitefish salad, latkes, etc.—but unfortunately, the quality just isn’t there. The bagel and lox were passable, but the whitefish salad tasted like it had been sitting for a while. Produce accompanying the dishes was clearly a few days past its prime.

The worst offender was the potato latkes. The center was still frozen when served, and when they were reheated, it was in what tasted like very old, dirty oil—really unappetizing.

On the plus side, the prices are fair for the area, which makes it all the more disappointing that the freshness and preparation didn’t match the value. There’s potential here, but the quality control in the kitchen needs serious attention.

For the most part, I have enjoyed Steve’s Deli food. The portions are very generous but the price is also higher than I generally like. However, I just went there recently and was somewhat disappointed. I had gone to the restaurant for a sandwich, which I had seen on an online menu as costing $15.99, but when I arrived at the restaurant, I discovered the online menu was way out dated because the current price is now $21.99. I decided to order one of their specials, beef short ribs. The waitress talked me into upgrading to the dinner instead of the lunch because it came with a salad and an additional side. I ordered the salad with blue cheese dressing and it was some of the worst I’ve ever had. It had very little blue cheese in it. The salad itself was very good with fresh ingredients. I ordered roasted potatoes but the waitress brought me mashed potatoes by mistake. When she found she had brought me the wrong thing, she brought me the roasted potatoes. The roasted potatoes were excellent and the mashed potatoes were good real potatoes. The second side I ordered was mac and cheese. Having lived in Florida recently for two years, I am familiar with good southern mac and cheese. Steve’s was very mediocre. I would not order it again. Fortunately, the meal was saved by the beef short ribs, which were outstanding. Had they not been so good, I would have rated the meal no higher than two and probably a one. Unfortunately, this lunch turned out to cost about $36, which is way more than I can justify for a lunch. It will be a long time before I go back, if I ever do.

Another great meal at Steve’s. Food is good, fresh and well prepared. Very clean and lots of parking, especially in bad. Service is fast, and Kristal always checks to make sure everything is fine. Highly recommend.

I had the Reuben and it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly balanced, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. Friendly staff and a great deli vibe make it a place I’ll definitely return to.

I was in the carry out section for almost 10 minutes, 3 different employees walked by me including the “manger” and 2 say we will be right there and disappeared. Great service.

The food was as good as any/most deli I have been to no better or worse, so nothing special. But the service make it not worth going again. The sandwiches are bit expensive for the size.

This is a deli that has high-end sandwiches at high-end prices. The cost of the average sandwich is $21. I had the corned beef which was quite lean I would have preferred a little more fat so it’d be a little more juicy. The desserts were really good and the service was good.
