I got 2 bags of 2 pound crawfish, one that was like half alive?? We peeled it and there was no meat, then headless ones?? And the people that work there are rude. I didn’t mean to hit tip and it tipped them 40 bucks (it was already 35) and I said “this isn’t supposed to be right” and they said it is right and made us spend 70 bucks. Crawfish tasted like paint and half of them were already straight. N it was dirty like it came out the toilet.

Looked for a local seafood restaurant near home and The Seafood Pot for the 1st time. Order a fried shrimp plate for $17.99 and a fried fish plate for $16.99 which is way out of line with the low quality and low quantity of food served. Shrimp was absolutely flavorless and gummy, fish plate looked more like a child’s serving and each piece of fish that were so small and thin, the fish was overcooked and dry. Also, never had seafood plates without tarter sauce and or cocktail sauce but, they charged $0.50 for one and $0.75 for the other.

The crabs!!!! OH MY GOODNESS they were so good. And the owners are amazing, always checking on us. Very personable and down to earth. Low Key atmosphere! Excellent place!

This place has the BEST crawfish I’ve ever had anywhere. Everything else is fantastic too. Get the soft shell crabs and onion rings. The O rings aren’t the scrappy frozen ones or the greasy battered ones, they’re just perfect! We go back time and time again when were in the area even though its about 30 minutes out of town

Seafood sampler was too salty & spicy. Crab were light/skinny, shrimp were hard to peel, even potatoes were too spicy. Server was nice & we had good service except food has gone down in taste. This was at lunch time & only one other party of two there.

Talk about good, good seafood. Good to the last bite. Always great pricing, friendly people and you can even have an adult beverage while you’re here. Catch them during the week and there’s an all-you-can-eat crawfish special; I think it’s on Wednesdays. Crawfish prices are fair; they serve other seafood, po-boys, sandwiches etc.

The seafood gumbo is really good. I also had the crab cake pasta, the crab cakes were very bland, I had to drown them in the sauce for flavor. We also ordered the grill chicken sandwich BLAND, absolutely no seasoning on the chicken. The cashier/servers/cook were all very pleasant. This wasn’t my first visit, I just always get the boiled seafood which is always DELICIOUS!!!

Greatest hole in the wall ever !!! Cant beat the prices and service. And the selection is great. The ladies are so nice and walk around making sure everything is as best as possible.
