The only reason I do not have a rating installed for commentary referencing Alex’ food is because i always come in broke. The euphoria and mannerisms of the staff are always super genuine and i cant wait to integrate into Sono fiscally and blow it on the bar. Ya’ll always stay on top of peoples behavior and i feel safe in there!

The food was so bad not only they over charge for everything but sandwich it was steak and they only had like two pieces of it. Fries different kind of fires, I ask for a glass of water and they said I had to buy a bottle of water that they don’t serve free water drinks are so expensive .

The food is garbage. Honestly, we went one time for the food and now we eat before we get there. The price for a well liquor is kind of ridiculous for Norwalk. I understand if we were in the city and you wanted to charge $15 for a WELL liquor…fine. But buyer please beware! And the service…what service? You have to flag everyone down to get anything. No one checks up on you. And that’s probably because they know they are going to put 20% auto gratuity on the checks. If you’re going to come here it’s only worth it if there is a party. Otherwise I would never come here. Oh! And we asked for ketchup for our fries and the ketchup came,no lie,15minutes later! I know this because I was able to time it based on the game we were watching!

Entirely too loud and bright to talk to people. Cover charge for overpriced drinks and no pool tables available. Only crowd were people playing pool. The club vibe they’re trying to create doesn’t match the relatively laid back atmosphere they actually have. Went at 11pm on a Saturday night and spent $110 for 8 people’s entry and 4 (basic) drinks.

I’ve went to Alex’s lounge multiple times expecting a different outcome but always leaving with a bad experience. I used to go to New York City when it came to clubs and lounge so this is nothing to me. The Instagram doesn’t portray the realism of the place at all. Charging at the door is pretty unnecessary for a place located in Norwalk.

I recently went here with my friend on a Friday night to have a drink. I was here 15 minutes. The primary bartender didn’t know what Remy Martin liquor was. Then directed us to another part of the bar to another bartender. At this side of the bar there was sloppy drunk customers and we were attacked for no reason at all. 1 the woman who assaulted my friend should have been out of the bar way before we even arrived she was way past her limit of intoxication. 2 once she grabbed hold of my friend 2 so called security guards whom I found out later were just huge men in security shirts grabbed my friend into a position that would not allow her to move as this other woman was attacking her. I got involved because to help get security off my friend because they were overly aggressive. The security guard then pushed me up against the bar not allowing me to move as well. My body was so bruised after this. When I spoke with the owner the next day he stated his bouncers were not wrong at all. I could not believe he was ok with how his staff physically assaulted us.

Tried to come here on 3/11/2022 with a large group of sober people. One of the
people in our group (aged 26) was unable to enter with her CT issued drivers license, because the bouncer said “it looked fake” They did not scan the license and the license was NOT expired, but the bouncer could not provide any reason why he thought it was fake, just that she wasn’t allowed in.
Disgraceful and a SHAME that your front door staff is turning people away for no reason. I will never give my money to this place again and I recommend you don’t either.
