Maggie’s Bluff
We stopped at Elliott Bay Marina to check on getting a slip for when we bring our @pacificpearlyacht north into Washington, and while there we met the harbormaster, Brice—such a genuinely nice and helpful guy.
Right next to the marina office is Maggie’s Bluff, and before hitting the road south we decided to stop in for a quick bite. The restaurant was quiet, clean, and welcoming. It was a cold day, so we both ordered a bowl of clam chowder, and it turned out to be the perfect choice.
Hands down, this was one of the best—and most unique—clam chowders I’ve ever had. What made it so different (and so good) is that it was loaded with clams. Most chowders are mostly soup with a few clams, but this one was thick, hearty, and full of them. It also wasn’t the usual milky white—it had a more natural, slightly gray color, which matched the rich, authentic flavor. Absolutely delicious.
Our waitress was very kind and kept tempting us with the crème brûlée, which sounded amazing, but we passed this time—no sugar today. Still, five stars all the way. If you’re at Elliott Bay Marina, definitely stop at Maggie’s Bluff.

Visited Maggie Bluffs last week and really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the blue cheese salad and a cup of clam chowder. My son and I decided to split 2 dishes, so we each ended up with half a mushroom swiss burger with sweet potato fries and half an order of fish and chips. It was all great, our server was lovely and the views from the restaurant are terrific. We were very glad we went!

I Will definitely be coming back here. Everything we ordered tasted amazing including the drinks. Solid service, they include indoor and outdoor options. Very well adjusted for social distancing. Burger was juicy, cooked to perfection and shapely delicious. The French dip was too die for, SO GOOD! The calamari was a meal in itself, it was a huge portion size. The old fashioned drink was well made and delicious. Staff was friendly and timely. We had a 15 minute wait for an indoor table on a Saturday.

This place is amazing! The food was soooooo good. I regret not getting a picture. My man and I got the hot crab and artichoke dip and it was 10/10 out of this world GOOOOD!
The lady who waited on us was so sweet as well and the views you get at this restaurant are not bad at all.
This is a fantastic place. We plan to visit again next time we visit.

My BBQ burger was good, edge of the buns were burn. Tots could be more crispy. Calamari was good, lite batter, I like the sauce. My friend did not like her fish taco, it was too bland. 4 stars is for Amanda, our server, she as very good, patient with big group, there were 14 of us. To get to restaurant, it was little tricky. Turn to go down to pier can be easily missed.

We’ve been to Maggie Bluffs a handful of times and it was a nice day so we decided to go and sit outside. Nice view that is for sure. Our server was so nice, actually everyone we encountered was very kind. The atmosphere is old school inside and it’s great! Let’s talk about the food. The clam chowder was extremely delicious and the perfect taste. It’s hard to compete in Seattle so they did it well. We ordered a cup and it was literally half full so maybe 5 bites. At least the cup could’ve been filled to the top. The fish and chips were good but the fish was very thin and they could’ve added a few more fries. They used to have a good happy hour. I asked if they were serving happy hour and they weren’t. They must’ve ended it. The Moscow mule seemed a little weak. Also they charged a living wage surcharge on top of the bill. Not sure why places do this. Just add a little extra into the food prices so no one knows.

First time trying Maggie Bluffs and really enjoyed it! The view is incredible – you can see both Mount Rainier and the Space Needle from the patio!
The calamari was delicious and the steamed shrimp were solid. Overall, the service was great!
There were only a couple downsides. It took quite a bit to get the food but it was a lovely day so I wasn’t too bothered about that. The beer selection was probably the biggest disappointment. They were sold out / marked-thru two of the drafts, then when I ordered a Seapine IPA (not marked through) I found out they were also out of that. So the only IPA or pale on draft was Manny’s and I’m never that desperate. The bottle/can list was very limited to domestics (some of which they were also out of).
So when visiting again I’ll be prepared to have a bottled domestic, not the end of the world but would love to see more support of local breweries.

Its a cute little hidden place with amazing view. My husband took me there for a date and we had a wonderful evening. The food was great. My hubby loved his prawns (in the pic) and I was very happy with my house made bean patty veggie burger with sautéed mushroom. The staff was very friendly and proud of this little cafe.

We were so happy to find this place. Amazing views, great food, and yummy drinks. Raspberry mojito was pretty tart, but a little simple syrup solve that quick. Very nice staff and a great friendly manager that we spoke to gave some great local knowledge about Seattle. If we find ourselves in Seattle we will definitely be visiting Maggie bluffs again. There’s an amazing Hill just passed the marina with amazing views of the sunset. We were definitely surprised there weren’t more people while we hung out and had a drink. Thanks for the great memories!
