Formerly Midtown Coffee! We’re the same great staff, owners, and drinks…just a new name reflecting our love for the Natural State and all its great people! We offer many coffees and non-coffee drinks including espresso, lattes, energy drinks, Nitro Coffee, Chai Tea, Cold brew, frappes, smoothies, hot and iced tea and more. We have great pastries too. We’re locally owned and have a heart to serve great drinks in a nice atmosphere. Have a favorite drink at another coffeehouse? Let us know and we’ll customize your order. Really wanted to support local on my holiday drive back home through AR. This spot is super convenient just off the freeway with an easy return back. Location couldn’t be better for a coffee shop. Lots of attractive seasonal options on the menu. The employee was helpful and super nice as I asked questions about the menu. Pricing is reasonable too. Thanks for existing!

I was just passing through, making a bathroom stop on the way to Tennessee. I saw this coffee shop as I exited, so I stopped for a break. They have a bakery in the back! Hot blueberry muffin w/ butter! Low-carb will have to wait till tomorrow. The Samoa coffee–coconut, caramel, chocolate–was excellent too. So glad I didn’t make it to McDonald’s (though McD’s has good coffee, too).
The barista was super sweet. She kept apologizing for the time it took to melt the butter so it could pour into the muffin. How many coffee shops provide that service at all? None I know.
I’m pretty sure it was God led me to get off at this exit.

This was a really great spontaneous coffee stop idea!!! My wife and I stopped by spontaneously and were pleasantly surprised!! I got the iced black coffee and a quad on the side. My wife got the iced Samoa with an extra shot. It was so good, the coffee was perfection, I absolutely loved the roast and really enjoyed the full rounded chocolate tones of the iced coffee (almost like a really yummy Scottish ale). Absolutely recommend!!!

I and several of my fellow employees go to this location almost every morning. I will say Good Morning instead of My Name, and they usually know who it is right away. I’ve have many good conversations with the employee at the window. They are Very Welcoming and Friendly. Hadn’t had any major issues with the food/service from the Atkins Location!!

I have gone to Natural State Coffee since it was Midtown!! I have tried every drink on the menu and they are so good no matter what it is. My favorite thing about Natural State is conversating with the employees, especially Alyexis! She always asks me what my plans are for the day and how life has been! She always has a smile on her face that’s contagious. Every time I leave the coffee shop, I feel my mood go up in a positive way! I have never had a bad experience at Natural State! Definitely the best coffee place in town.

Natural State in Atkins Arkansas has to be the best coffee shop I’ve been too! I am a local but I’d prefer Natural State over the other coffee shops. Each employee is kind, generous and absolute sweethearts! I’ve tried multiple different coffees and I have yet to be disappointed!

On my 20+ hour drive from CO to AL I stopped here around 7:45am on 25 March 2024. I spent $22 on 2 coffees and 2 muffins. Got in the car and down the road and only to realize the muffin was a literal brick. I threw 2 completely whole muffins away because they were inedible. The take away is not the muffins here, it is the fact that a person/business is OKAY selling the consumer a product knowing it was poor quality. Midtown coffee traded me my hard earned money for garbage. I literally threw away $10.
