At our Enterprise, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Captain D’s is so underwhelming these days. $13 for a plate without a drink and everything is drenched in grease.. I mean it’s a Captain D’s I guess. We haven’t been in forever and decided to stop by while we were out. The service was decent and quick surprisingly.

Cashier lied, I asked if they had the $9.99 deal for qty 2 of two piece fish and fry and he said yes. He then proceeded to charge us $11.98 for them. If I would have known he was going to charge normal price we would not have ordered the extra fish.

As a fast food seafood place, obviously Captain D’s isn’t going to compare with a proper seafood restaurant. However, reviewing the Enterprise Captain D’s on its own, I had no issues. I got chicken and fish. My party also got blackened fish and catfish dinners. I found the food to be quite tasty for seafood fast food. No issue with the service either. So when I’m next in the area AND craving a quick, fast food seafood hit, I will go to this Captain D’s again.

This was my first time at Captain D’s and i can honestly say it was an amazing experience! The drive thru worker was astonishing! He cared not only about the food but also about the customer! the food was fast and fresh; and the workers seemed like they actually wanted to be there! Most fast food chains aren’t like that now a days. I will definitely be coming back!

Haven’t been there in forever and went in tonight. The young lady working the counter (Shaniya) was super friendly and professional. You could tell she liked her job which is a nice change. It was also very fast and fresh and the place was very clean!

Used to visit regularly for years. Still enjoy the food but have quit eating there because of drink prices. Used to get small drinks for lower price. Now they only serve one size at a ridiculous price. Just not worth it for me.

had a doordash order and it doesn’t provide an area to make it say that I wanted all the toppings for the baked potato on the side tried calling nine times lady had an attitude said I need to make it in the comments well all they did was take the blob of cheese and baxon on the side that is the worsr cusromer service i have ever had I will never order from them again

Food was good and staff were kind but the service was very slow. I don’t expect fast at Captain D’s but we waited at least 30 minutes for our food.

What a difference the right crew makes. From the moment we walked into our local Captain D’s, we noticed the change. We were greeted immediately and the cashier was very friendly and helpful. After we received our food the manager who had been on break came by to ask if we needed anything. The restaurant was cleaner than the last time we visited several months ago. The food was prepared well and tasted great. Whatever happened, keep up the improvements.
