Good old fashioned family owned BBQ place. Nothing fancy, just plain good. Don’t have a lot of choices in sauces but house one is sweet. Good service and large portions. All in my group of 8 loved it and plan to come back.

Really enjoyed the brisket and huge potato fries. Cole slaw is good as well. The bread is delicious. One gripe – the drink cups are very small, and I burn through my drink fast! The service was extremely fast! It was only minutes from ordering the brisket dinner to getting the food to me! In my opinion, worth the 25 mile ride to get here.

What a difference a year or so can be.
The menu shrunk and the prices grew.
Sadly this was a local favorite for me with lots of options, making this a perfect place for anyone with any craving.
Now their menu consists of mostly ribs or chicken or some combination there of, and no brisket and many other favorites gone.
The sandwich side of the menu was just as limited, offering a fairly lackluster overpriced sandwich selection.
To me, I feel as though the pandemic was used to very much limit their menu and up prices by as much as 20% or more, which is over the line, in my opinion.
I could be wrong but maybe the empty dining room at dinner time, is indicative that others feel the same.

The staff is wonderful here, always friendly and helpful.
I found the prices to be reasonable and the menu options are vast enough to satisfying craving.
For me personally, I absolutely love the smoked brisket dinner. It is always tender and juicy and the flavor is really good! I also very much enjoyed the jumbo shrimp dinner.
In the past I have gotten other things, but once I found my 2 favorites, that is my go-to!
The restaurant is clean, service is quick, and quality is high!
I would say if you aren’t sure, give it a try.
And the brisket… oh yeah 🙂

My brother and I planned a surprise dinner for my mother’s 78th Birthday & the food was Great our server was super awesome. The owner is a pretty super fantastic lady as well. One of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. We showed up for dinner at 9:15, the restaurant closes at 10. As we walked in the staff was cleaning and they had no other patrons besides a group of men the outside patio. We did not want to he the sole reason for them staying open so we tried to leave. The manager assured us it was ok and asked us to stay. Not wanting to be “those people” we tried to insist we should leave. He again said he would be happy to have us stay. He promptly took our order without rushing us. The Long island I ordered was so good! I’m a little picky about those. We ordered the deep fried shrimp and the nachos and both dishes were great. I had to flag him down to ask for the bill at 9:55 because he was being so courteous and trying not to make us feel rushed. I would highly recommend this place, customer service is on point and food was delicious. Their restrooms were clean and tidy, I can’t say anything bad about the place! ❤️
