So disappointed in the new ownership! My family has been going to Sal and Al’s for years. The food, service, ice cream parlor and atmosphere has always on point but we’ve been 3 times since they switched owners and our service was horrendous on a slow Sunday. We order takeout and my daughter’s kids meal is missing, we called up and they gave us a heck of a deal to come back and we did because we love the menu but our experience was awful we contemplated leaving. Were sat at a dirty table with paper menus covered in old food. We’re spending $3 on a soda but couldn’t get any refills because the server was busy cleaning and inattentive.

My first time dining here. I had the Syrian salad with the addition of gyro meat, chicken was another option. I enjoyed the salad. I was there with a small group. One ordered a BLT, one a pizza, one the perogies, and two the chicken paprikas. Everyone was happy with their meals. The service was good.

I have dined at Sal & Al’s a few times a year over the past decade. I was happy to stop in for lunch today and see that the menu is as diverse as ever. Service was friendly and attentive. We were promptly seated and informed that while all items are available, they were running low on pierogi, so if we were seeking those, we would need to get our order in to make our claim on the final portions. Pricing is fair. Portions are generous. Our meals were tasty. This was the cleanest I have ever seen the restaurant, no dust on the decor.

Had an excellent corned beef sandwich, house made corned beef. Also had a great roast beef sandwich there not long ago. Fries were really good. Server was very nice.

We’ve been aware of this little nook of a restaurant for quite some time and we always say, “We gotta try this place.” Well today we stopped, and we were pleasantly surprised! I had the gyro salad and the hubster had the classic burger, but there are a multitude of menu items. My salad was SO fresh and yummy and the gyro meat was excellent. The croutons on top of the salad were actually small bits of flatbread that had been deep fried. Wow! Took half of the salad home! My hubby enjoyed every bit of his burger and we both agreed we would be back.

Went to Sal & Al’s with some friends last week. We tried the deep dish pizza. By far, the BEST deep dish we’ve ever had. Their sauce is absolutely amazing.

Our server, Melissa, was super attentive and fun. Will definitely request to be seated in her section again.

And, if you have a sweet tooth, it is worth noting that the ice cream shop includes both sugar free & vegan options. The peanut butter overload did not disappoint.

I was initially going to a sandwich shop located in the same plaza. I just wanted something quick to take home. After waiting for far too long in that shop I walked out. Strolled down to Sal & Al’s. They sat me quickly. Took my order just as fast. I had the Smashburger and fries. The price for a warm meal in a nice restaurant was about the same as I would have paid for a sub. I recommend this place!!!

I ordered a cup of chicken paprikash soup and unstuffed Cabbage soup. I wish I would’ve asked to taste them before ordering because I would not have done so. Both soups seem like they just took what was left over from yesterday’s dinners, blended it up a bit and put it into a bowl. Both are very thick. Out of the two, the stuffed pepper was by worst. All I can taste is tomato sauce, no seasoning or broth whatsoever. I would’ve given one star if it wasn’t for the kind lady who took care of me at the counter.

Food was fantastic and I have no complaints there. However the service was terrible. Waited 40 minutes for a basket of chips then another 20 for our food which was uncomplicated and should have been done considering others who came in after us got their food and left by the time we got ours. Our waitress could not have cared less. We have had her multiple times and she has been terrible every time. Waited 40 minutes without refill on drinks and the male owner from the back was the individual who offered us refills not even our waitress. Very disappointed will not be returning anytime soon.

Cute little place with an interesting selection of food. My kids loved their buttered noodles and I thoroughly enjoyed my meat pies.
