My husband and I went one hour before closing for the first time and customer service was great very attentive. This Brisket was amazing, pulled pork was very good as well the mash potatoes and was ok and their BBQ sauce had great flavor. I try their burger and it was absolutely my favorite burger so far. Since I don’t eat bread they substituted with lettuce and was delicious just perfect for Gluten Free meal. I see my self coming again from San Antonio for the experience.

Pretty disappointed in the quantity and quality of the food that was ordered. It seems like the brisket had been pre-sliced and stored in a hot box for a while before plating. It was $40 for the prime rib special, which honestly had good flavor but was far beyond overcooked, it was almost entirely gray. The sides were awesome but almost $80 for two meals is a little excessive. Hadn’t been here since the move from the old location, two different experiences for sure.

This is really good BBQ! The brisket was very tender, very moist, and had some really good rub! The ribs were outstanding, and will make me a regular visitor from now on. I still need to sample the sausage, but the cobbler was great.
The servers on this afternoon were all young, at least that I could see up in front, excluding the manager. I interacted with at least four of them, and they were ALL friendly and helpful! An overall excellent experience, and I will definitely return and recommend! (I would love to try the pickles everyone raves about, but I don’t do onions.)

Great brisket! Great service, everyone is friendly. We had the G Mac with brisket and jalapeños and the brisket sandwich on the jalapeño bun. Delicious! Thank you!

We went to Rabel’s Roadhaus for the Valentine’s Day special and it honestly exceeded expectations. The fixed menu was a great idea — easy to order, well-thought-out pairings, and plenty of food. We shared the jalapeño popper dip and shrimp to start, both were fresh and flavorful, and the beef tenderloin entrées were cooked perfectly.
I also tried the brisket grilled cheese and it was ridiculous in the best way — smoky, rich, and clearly made with real house brisket. Dessert (banana bread pudding) finished it off perfectly.
What really stood out though was the service. The staff checked on us multiple times without being intrusive and kept drinks filled all night. You could tell they were organized for a busy holiday crowd but still made it feel personal.
Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service — we’ll definitely be back, not just for Valentine’s Day.

Great place for a fantastic meal. The Fish and Shrimp Special is very good
The Fish are nice and plump with just the right amount of batter. The Shrimp are delicious and big. The tartar sauce is very good. Tried the Jalapeno Cream Corn for the first time and it was great. Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. Definitely will be back.

Its a very modern location for a BBQ place, but don’t be fooled. The food is phenomenal. Pork Ribs are tender, okra was the perfect crisp, not soggy. They have a great bar selection with excellent draft options. Runners and bar staffwere over the top friendly (minus) the one girl who HAD to inform my company that it was really not in her tasks to bring a water cup. Other than anomaly the face of the restaurant was very nice. Food is hot and deserts are better than you expect. Definitely a gem. Very large seating perfect for big parties

First time visit. Got pork ribs, moist brisket, and jalapeno and cheese sausage. It was all fantastic!

The brisket was tasty and moist, but the ribs were just okay. We got the 3 meat plate (double brisket + ribs) and it’s supposed to be 1/4 lb of each meat. I’m pretty sure that was not 1/2 lb of brisket so we left hungry. The jalapeño creamed corn was really good though! Fried okra was good as well. We liked the spicy and regular BBQ sauces. The white BBQ tasted too strongly of vinegar (and I like vinegar). The pickles looked homemade and I loved them! Great option for local food in La Vernia though and great atmosphere. We didn’t get drinks but the bar looked nice.
