We live 5 minutes from the Chesterton location. Ordered a 3 piece tenders and a surf and turf (3 tenders/4 shrimp). In taking the surf and turf box out of the bag (it was underneath the 3 tenders box — which were fine) the bottom felt cold. Was it from sitting on the cold car seat? No, no it wasn’t. The box was cold because the shrimp were still frozen and not at all cooked. The chicken was cooked, but cold from the shrimp. It’s a good thing we have an air fryer — because we had to cook the shrimp and reheat the chicken.
Could we have driven back? Yes, because it’s a 5 minute drive. However, sometimes on a Wednesday at 6pm you just want to eat and not leave the house again.
So please – be sure the shrimp is cooked before placing it in a take out order.

I got dine in service and the food was very fresh and some of the best Popeyes I’ve ever had. The manager Katy was very helpful and accommodated me through my entire time there. Been waiting for fried chicken in Chesterton since kfc left and this is the perfect solution.

Well I must say I was a lil upset to find out that Katy left the Valpo store but we found her in the new Chesterton location and being the Manager she is I must say she hasn’t lost step., was like a family reunion we walked in and saw her. So please take it from your boy when I say it’s on point you know I don’t give out compliments like coupons so trust when I say it’s all good.

The building is new and really nice, however they need to improve their operations. They have got 50% of our orders wrong. On our last order they they didn’t include 2 sides and a drink. I used their app to complain but it only offered a $3.33 refund which is about the price of just one side. I had to call the location and leave a voicemail but no one called me back. Popeyes food is good but we probably won’t go back to this location.

OK, I gave reviews from Valpo and portage so it’s only right that I do Chesterton one cause that’s five minutes from my house thank God they built it. now I went in there everything was so on point it was clean. I know they just opened but still it could’ve been dirty. I asked the manager can I get my 18 wings fresh he said absolutely with no problem it was a mixup I guess with my order about the sauce the young man I asked can cause he just put the sauce on know can I get some more sauce? He said no problem. I didn’t get no back mouth like I usually do when I tell you, he understood the assignment. He understood the assignment because my wings were covered just the way I like it. I didn’t have to say nothing else and then my fries were fresh. Everything was fresh. I will be back and that’s so much closer so they deserve a five stars. If they keep that up, they would definitely have a long-term customer from me

First off the lady taking orders on the drive thru was rude and had an attitude when she spoke. They got our order wrong and also had a bug in my lemonade. We went home and started eating our food and found a parchment square from the cheese in my husbands food. How did this place just open and is already so gross and disorganized

The absolute worst. Its nice on the inside.Nice and clean because they recently opened.I went here the other day and got the fanville order only for it to be cold and hard with no sauce nor drink. Employees just playing around not really paying attention. Probably how the order was bad. I went here three or four times previously.And everything was amazing.Hopefully, this is just one bad experience

This location was the best Popeyes experience I’ve had in a looong time! The chicken was hot and juicy, the staff were so friendly, and the wait was almost nonexistent. I got a 5pc tender box and they were huge! The cajun fries were hot and crispy too. My order also had a great amount of extra napkins, honey, and sauces. When I go to other locations they always forget my honey!!! It was such a great experience. I recommend coming here 100%!
