Eating here made me feel like a Russian child sitting at the table of grandparents I never had, yet somehow recognized. The soups, stews, and mashed potatoes are made with care, patience, and respect for the recipes.

Very cool little place in downtown Tomball. It was nice and quiet on a Friday night. Service was fast and friendly. Beef stroganoff and Pelmeni were excellent. We will be back to try more off the extensive menu.

The crepes we got were delicious. It’s a special treat and should not be treated like fast food, so it’s worth the price. The batter was warm and buttery and filling was well seasoned.

An excellent atmosphere and the food is great. If you’ve been to any places near Old Town Tomball you know they’re small, family-owned business. These folks are giving you truly traditional Russian cuisine that feels like it came out of Grandma’s scratch kitchen. It’s unique style is genuinely hard to find anywhere these days! Really mellow atmosphere. The food is truly authentic. Ive tried a few items from the menu and none have disappointed. Oatmeal is amazing! The Beef Stroganoff is superb! The crepes are perfect t! Not processed nor fake, just light and perfectly balanced…they have them sweet and also savory. The licorice soda is a quirky good choice as well. Truly a favorite spot for good home cooking of traditional Russian food.

SUCH good food and friendly service. Best coffee I’ve had in years! Loved the quaint look and homey feel. We enjoyed taking our time, feeling laid back and unpressured. We love visiting different country themed restaurants and stores. I appreciate that Houston has such a variety! A Russian restaurant was rather hard to find. We drove an hour one way and had been wanting to go for a while now. This was worth the wait! Definitely going to recommend friends to go and can’t wait to visit again.

This is the first time I’ve ever had Russian food. I was thoroughly impressed. It’s a neat little place in the heart of Tomball. They have a lot of different crêpes on the menu. I didn’t try at this time, but I would like to see how the pizza crêpes taste. The owner made them sound really good.
The service was a little slow because there was only one guy working who was the owner. He does it all. Well, it’s very impressive that he does it all it does take away from the speed of service. The place wasn’t very busy the night we visited. I’m sure it’s hard to afford other staff members when there’s not too many people eating there at night.
It was still a good experience for the most part. I will definitely be back to try some different items they have the offer.

Tasteless food, extremely overpriced, extremely small portions, hair in our tvorog. Would recommend to stay away. Waiter was chill, but to barely feed 4 people it was $101.84 (with tip)

Was very good ! A little Husband and Wife restaurant small and very home feel. Got the Cinnamon Apple crepes, Cherry Vanilla Crepes and some the Salmon Cream Cheese crepes. Coffee was very good as well I recommend the cinnamon creamer ! everything tasted delicious and fresh would definitely come here again !
