We stopped here for late lunch / early supper after hiking to the top of Seneca Rocks.
I had a steak salad and my wife had a 12″ cheese pizza. We both liked our food. I also enjoyed a Big Timbers IPA with our meal.
It was so nice enjoying the view of where we had just been while enjoying our food.
All of the ladies were very nice to us also.

Nice stop for pizza after hiking a Seneca rocks. The crust was very good, it’s extra saucy if you like that. They were very friendly and the service was quick! The view is beautiful but the steps are a killer after you’ve already hiked all day.

The view from the porch is spectacular. The staff was really nice and welcoming. Wifi is available in case you don’t have cellphone reception like me. The staff also gave me a direction how to get to my destination. I had a steak salad, it was ok for the price just don’t expect the fancy sirloin steak on the salad. The house italian dressing was good though. After a round trip hike at the seneca rocks the food here filled me up just fine. The exceptional service and warm welcoming staff made up for everything!

Stopped for pizza on a Saturday night. They were not busy, so we picked seats. The restaurant is located upstairs from the store. They have six local craft beers on tap. My wife and I shared a 12″ pizza and also had draft beers. The pizza was good. It had a nice crust, and you can get an assortment of toppings. Our server was friendly. The negative I had was that the outside door was kept open. The temperature was in the 40’s. The place was cold. Total with tip, $40.

What a gem! Upstairs restaurant with a beautiful view of Seneca Rocks. We stopped for a light lunch and to hydrate. We love finding hidden gems like this place. Everyone so kind and willing to share all the WV stories. We loved it! We coulda sat on the porch all day. I think the lady said 1902 is when it opened. Incredible.

Genuinely shocked at how good the food was. I’ve been craving their bread since I left. Great place to relax and enjoy the view.

When we first walked in the lady who greeted us was great. She talked the food up, gave us recommendations, ect. We ordered our food, where I requested plain extra crispy chicken wings. After ordering we sat down, and could hear the man in the kitchen complain about the extra crispy request. Later we over heard our waitress tell him, these wings are not crispy enough. But he did not care and had her send them out anyway. When the food was delivered we politely asked if they could be dropped again, while we understand the wings were not breaded, they were still white, and far from crispy. The waitress said “absolutely, I told him they weren’t crispy enough.” When she returned the food to the kitchen we could hear from the other side of the restaurant his displeasure about the food being sent back to be cooked longer. He then came to our table to yell at us. He told us the next time we came back (HA!) that this is how they cook their chicken and they don’t like to burn their meat. My sister informed him we actually did not care how they like to cook their chicken, that we ordered it crispy, and paid for it to be crispy. And at no point were we rude, we simply asked for them to be cooked longer, and we did not appreciate him being rude to us for a simple request. We assume this must be how he frequently talks to people and must not get this response often, so he quietly returned to the kitchen. Our waitress then came out to apologize, and said “we always tell him and he never listens” and another server also came out to apologize to us. While we did not enjoy our food, we would have easily given this place another try simply based on our server. But this man will be the reason we will never return. I’m not sure if he was an owner or cook, but he is doing nothing positive for this establishment.

We loved this little place! We both had subs that had outstanding FLAVOR! One steak and one Italian and the sub rolls were awesome! Yes, the waitress could of been more attentive but you are in a small town where no-one hurries to see if you need anything. Having grown up in such an area I’m use to it. Anyways I’d rather go fetch my own refill when I need it. I must point out that this restaurant does not have any handicap entrances. It is on the second floor. Quiet atmosphere and a grand view of the Seneca Rocks.

All the workers were extremely nice, and the food was super good. The homemade pizza was fantastic.
