The pizza is worth the drive from Baton Rouge and maybe even New Orleans and Lafayette! YES it is that good. Caprese salad was a bit different than most Italian spots, but was very good. Very laid back atmosphere just pushing out those delicious pizza pies! Can’t wait to go back.

Big River brings Italy to St. Francisville. High quality ingredients and dough put this pizza in my top 3 (right next to a couple places in Naples). This spot should be a non-negotiable stop for pizza lovers. We had the Honeybee (red), Chicken Ranch (white), Meatballs + Polenta, and Caesar. We’ll be back tomorrow. 12/10. They’ve got a run club during the week and they’re supporting the Rouge Roubaix road race this weekend. Big River is sure to be a community staple.

We walked across the street to see if they had a small bar to watch the football game and to our surprise. They have a speakeasy in the back. We had a great time, just relaxing and having a few drinks. we have to come back and try out the restaurant part and do another review.

I’ve been here a few times. Great pizza and nice char on top of the pizza. My only complaint is that I wish the bottom had some of that char and wasn’t so soft. Still, all and all, a very flavorful pizza.
