Ok, first of all let me say I’ve searched high and low for dedicated gluten free restaurants and more often than not I’m left sad, hungry and disappointed. Butterfly Belly DID NOT let me down! From the moment I walked thru the door, I felt welcome by my server (not to mention the restaurant smelled wonderful!). I had read reviews saying there was open mic karaoke but I didn’t realize that my server was a star!!! He sang a couple songs for everyone and played the guitar. He tried to get me up there but I don’t have half the courage he does! Maybe next time
Now, let’s talk about the food. I got the pork egg rolls and Pho-Ty Eight. The egg rolls were perfectly crispy with just the right amount of filling. The pho was probably some of the best I’ve ever had! The broth was extremely flavorful, the meat was tender and there were plenty of noodles. I recommended the dishes I had and the vibe of the restaurant to anyone who wants good food and a good dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!!

Been coming here for 5+ years and it’s still the best veggie pho I’ve ever had! The tofu is perfect and the broth is absolutely delicious. Always have a fun time watching the karaoke as well!

Delicious, authentic Asian food. And the best part is…I can actually eat ALL of it even though I can’t eat gluten!! I can’t begin to express how happy that made me. It’s extremely hard to find gluten free Asian food that is actually safe, but even for those who are not GF, you will not be disappointed. It is fabulous!

We were just looking for Thai food restaurant while we’re were visiting from Idaho. Ended having the best Thai food and pho and all gluten free! To my surprise the restaurant is all gluten free and I happen to be gluten free. Finding a restaurant like this rare!!! Gluten free beef balls were delicious. Ends up the place also has whole band karaoke open mic and we ended up playing with the owner/waiter covering a couple songs. We want to come to Portland again just to eat here! What a great place and a great experience!

The atmosphere is great, lots of fun lighting and a stage. drinks are lovely. The food is amazing and my friend with celiac didn’t need to worry about cross contamination at all. But the most important part is that the workers are very witty and my waiter came up and played guitar during our karaoke performances and it made it so much more fun. He also played a special song for us getting the thai tini, so make sure you get that if you want to hear the best cover of Tennessee Whiskey I have ever heard. The live music was also fantastic.

Literally the weirdest tasting food I’ve ever had in Portland. Got takeout for Christmas Eve, it took 3 hours which I understood because I assumed it would be a busy night for open restaurants, but then was tiny insanely overpriced portions with no flavor. I would not be surprised if I get food poisoning. The spring roll sauce literally tasted and looked like baby food. The pad Thai was weird. The chicken tasted off. Oddest experience ever. Sorry

The whole menu is gluten free! Not only that, but it is also delicious! My friend who is gluten intolerant took me and we split the calamari and each got a pho and a Thai ice tea cocktail, everything was really great. There is also a karaoke section, if anyone wants to sing and the owners are super fun and nice!

Had a lovely time with some really tasty food. Loved the karaoke singing while dining. Food does take some time to arrive, just plan for that and you’ll be fine. I’ve been twice and will come back 🙂
