At Church Street Depot, we specialize in high-quality hand-pattied burgers, hand-dipped milkshakes, and hand-cut fries. We strive to make fresh, healthy and tasty food options, and you won’t find high-fructose corn syrup in our restaurant. Enjoy one of three types of beef for your burger: 100% Angus, brisket and chuck blend or locally-sourced beef from a Western North Carolina farm. Only our hand-cut fries are cooked in the high quality peanut oil so those with gluten allergies will enjoy pure potato heaven–and, no additives to create fake crispness. Hand spun shakes are made with North Carolina ice cream, whole strawberries and our housemade chocolate sauce.

As a local living in Jackson County who enjoys trying local restaurants, this is undoubtedly the BEST burger in WNC! Juicy and so flavorful! The fries are also delicious! My go to is the Palmetto and Brunch Burger’s! My husband enjoys the basic or Carolina burger with toppings. Fast and friendly service as well.

This was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! It was freshly made, the meat was thick and not dry and the bun was soft and not heavy. Even the cheese and grilled onions were delicious! I highly recommend their burgers! Upon another visit I got some chili and cheese and it was really good!

Church street packs so much flavor into a simple burger, you can’t even fathom the levels of grilled delicacy.
Only downside is the loud corny country music, but once you reach the euphoric state of bliss that is brought on by their burgers you can tune it out.

What a great burger and fries. You can choose your meat mixture, specialty burger, add toppings, and more. The price is comparable to the quantity and quality. I give it 5 out of 5 napkins as that’s how many it took to get through it. Everything about it was fresh. One large fries was plenty for us to share.

Better than Five Guys fries. Got the chili and cheese on the side bc I like to dip my French fries then have it all over them. Chili was thick and enough seasoning but I added sweet jalapeños at home with sour cream. I think hands down they have the best French fries and flavored so well. I appreciated they didn’t skimp on the fries either.

When you first walk in, you already know you’re about to be taken care of. The blend burger was wonderful, and the fries were super fresh. Good bang for your buck. Friendly staff and a nice homey mom and pop atmosphere that makes you feel safe and right at home. Thanks for the great meal. I will be back!

These burgers are fantastic, and the chili cheese fries are a must-try as well. They serve sweet tea and provide cups with ice for bottled drinks. Although seating may be limited during busy times, the friendly and quick service makes the experience enjoyable. Don’t miss out on this place! They own up to the reputation of being the best.
