You can tell immediately walking into En Route that this place is popular — busy, loud, trendy music going, and honestly very cute inside. It’s part café, part eatery, with drinks, food, herbal teas (unsweetened options — always appreciated), plus a fun retail vibe with local makers selling candles, jewelry, wellness goodies, jams, etc. I actually picked up some jewelry while I was there, which made the visit feel a little more experiential than your average coffee stop.

Menu is extensive, but if you’re vegan, you’ll likely be customizing rather than ordering straight off the menu. They were totally accommodating though — I customized an açaí blue magic smoothie bowl that turned out really good. Bonus points for serving it in a square container — random, but I’ve had a LOT of açaí bowls and that was a first. Cute, different, memorable.

Service was helpful but a bit flat energy-wise. I get that it was busy, but a little warmth at the register would’ve matched the otherwise vibey atmosphere better. Not bad service — just not the friendliest front-facing experience.

I also grabbed the last vegan baked good from a local brand (“Yum”) — a cinnamon roll cake muffin. Loved seeing a local vegan baker represented, though the frosting leaned too sweet for me and the texture was more coffee-cake-adjacent than muffin. Appreciated the option, even if I wouldn’t reorder.

Overall: great herbal tea selection (hot or iced loose leaf options = yes please), strong aesthetic, fun retail element, and a solid spot if you’re okay customizing for vegan needs. Definitely a cute hangout café with personality.

This is my favorite coffee place in Goodyear! The staff is very pleasant, friendly, fun, and professional. The drinks are my absolute favorite, as well as the food. I am never disappointed when I come here!

My Wife’s Matcha Dealers:

The service here is amazing! My family of 4 are regulars, and it is always a good experience from start to stop. The staff is incredible and they make a killer Iced Matcha (my wife’s obsession). Do yourself a favor and stop by

Stopped by En Route Coffee for the first time and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the iced lavender latte and it was amazing—smooth, not too sweet, and really refreshing. I also grabbed a cookie that was delicious and baked perfectly. The inside of the shop is super charming and cozy, with a really welcoming vibe. Definitely a great first impression—I’ll be back!

I tried Enroute yesterday after hearing great things, but I have to say that I was disappointed. My latte was very underwhelming. It didn’t have that espresso taste, and the flavors (caramel and vanilla) just tasted off to me. The service was just okay. It almost seemed like they were unhappy, or I was inconveniencing them by being there and ordering, but they made the drink and thanked me for coming in. I like the vibes and atmosphere of the shop. It’s cute and cozy and you can buy so much more than just drinks or food here. Overall, I’m not sure I’ll return.

Enroute has always been one of my favorite coffee shops, even after moving to Colorado. The last time I was in town they were closed for renovations, so I was really excited to stop by again. Unfortunately, I arrived right after they had closed, but the barista was incredibly kind and still made me an iced coffee.

That small gesture absolutely made my day. The service was warm and genuine, and the coffee is still just as amazing as I remembered. Places like this are rare. Thank you for the great experience! Enroute will always be a must stop for me whenever I’m back in town!

First of all, great success to them for the expansion!
Lots of space options to sit, sip, and hang out. I also love that they have small local made things you can peruse as well.
Now let’s talk coffee- DELICIOUS! I’ve recently been frequenting more and more because who doesn’t love to support small local businesses but also because truly their coffee is delicious! Really fun seasonal menu options as well!

Very disappointing and uncomfortable situation observed involving a long-time customer at this establishment. A regular patron who has supported the business for years was directly confronted by an employee (Danielle Merancio) and told they were not welcome in the store due to the employee’s personal discomfort over a private matter from years ago. The issue was handled by staff instead of management, which came across as unprofessional and inappropriate for a customer-facing environment.

According to the customer’s account, there had been no prior disturbances or inappropriate behavior during their visits — they typically ordered, picked up, and left. Being singled out and addressed in this way created an embarrassing and avoidable scene that should have been handled privately by a manager.

Management later acknowledged the interaction was not handled correctly and stated there was no formal restriction in place, but their written follow-up reportedly included mixed and contradictory messaging about whether the customer was permitted in the store while also inviting them to continue patronizing the business. That inconsistency suggests a lack of clear internal communication and policy handling.

The customer has chosen to continue visiting, but the situation reflects poorly on how sensitive customer matters are managed. Staff should not be put in a position to personally confront customers over private issues, and customers should not be placed in the middle of employee conflicts. Professional oversight and clearer procedures are needed here.

What an excellent little coffee shop. I got an iced matcha latte, the lady got the Cowboy latte and we shared a cookie. The coffee is great flavor, not burnt like Starbucks. The cookie was out of this world! Service was super friendly. Will be back!

This was our first time trying Enroute! Unfortunately they are currently under construction as they are renovating- so there weren’t any seating options. BUT, our drinks and food to go were amazing! I tried the iced banana nut latte on their seasonal menu and it was delicious! The bagel and granola waffle were also very good! Staff were super sweet and helpful when looking at the menu! Great spot!
