Amaterra Kitchen + Social Club is the second location of the Portland-based winery and restaurant rooted in a “For the Love of the Earth” philosophy. Afternoons feature guided wine tastings, lunch, and small plates designed to complement Amaterra’s Willamette Valley wines—known for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as well as bold reds, crisp whites, and bright rosés made from varietals across the Pacific Northwest. In the evening, the space transitions into full-service dining, where ingredient-driven dishes showcase seasonal, locally sourced fare, including some signature favorites from the Portland location. Wines are sourced from Amaterra’s state-of-the-art gravity-flow winery in Portland’s West Hills.

Amaterra Kitchen is an absolute gem in Bend. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt calm, elevated, and architecturally stunning — the kind of space that invites you to slow down and truly enjoy the experience.
The food was just as beautiful as the surroundings. Every plate arrived like artwork. The beet salad was an absolute delight to my palate — perfectly balanced, fresh, and vibrant. We sampled several starters and were genuinely full before even considering entrées — each one thoughtfully crafted and layered with flavor.
What truly elevated the evening was the staff. They were attentive without hovering, quick yet never rushed, and genuinely warm and friendly. It felt effortless.
If you’re looking for a quiet, refined dining experience with gorgeous presentation and memorable flavors, Amaterra Kitchen absolutely delivers. A must-visit in Bend.

We hosted a private holiday dinner event at Amaterra Kitchen + Social Club and it was perfect on so many levels! We reserved the Wine Cellar, which not only comfortably hosted our party of 14, but is also elegantly decorated with classic, luxurious furnishings including the beautiful heirloom table. From the very beginning, the staff at Amaterra went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for our event. We had a preselected menu and appreciated the Event Coordinator, Jennifer’s, advice with our ordering selections and quantities. She made sure that we were aware of how food would be served upon arrival and at dinner. We had a phenomenal server, Sydney, who was attentive without being interruptive to the natural flow of the evening – her timing was truly perfect. Her wine and cocktail recommendations were fantastic, and paired wonderfully with the food we ordered. She made sure that all our needs were taken care of and truly contributed to a memorable evening. Last, but certainly not least, the food was absolutely delicious. We had a variety of appetizers/spreads, dinner entrees, and sides all of which was fresh and flavorful and the portion sizes were spot-on. Thank you, Sydney, Jennifer, and the rest of the Amaterra staff!

A nice place to visit that might be a little overpriced. Clean throughout with good service and a small happy hour menu. Just there for wine/appetizers this time. Wine was good and the environment was posh. They have a full bar for libations. Well behaved family friendly. Food was good, service was good, prices were high. Parking is downtown.

Only open a month. Nice decor. Great service. Menu needs to be more extensive. Owned by a winery but wine overpriced- mostly pilot, and only Amaterra brands. Food with nice presentation but overpriced. 42$ for 3 scallops! 32 for pork chop. Tasty Ceasars salad. Portions were small, but we were full at end of the meal. Wine pour was 5oz at best- for the price, could have been 6 oz.
Celebratory meal, so ok, but price would make me hesitate going back anytime soon.

All class, no breaks for Bend’s newest hotspot!
The attention to detail at Amaterra is felt from the first moment you walk through the front door.
The decor is stunning and the seating options are plentiful.
We opted for the bar because that’s more our style. Kicked off the evening with two cocktails. The aviation and the paper plane, both were top notch. ( shout out to our bartender Chad!!)
We then had the carpaccio as our starter! Yum!! Then went with the Gnudi and Pork chop as our mains! The pork chop is incredible (best I’ve ever had). So many flavors and the portion will leave you feeling more than satisfied! I haven’t stopped thinking about it and have recommended it every time Amaterra comes up in conversation. Then a wine tasting flight and martini to end the night.
All of the staff were warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our visit. I’ll be dreaming of that pork chop until our next visit. Very happy to have this addition to town!

Finally! a spot in Bend to enjoy a meal worth with the $pend. The service and management are excellent and they really show up for you.
We had the waygu and grilled shrimp for apps, and then the asparagus + steak & fry, with the scallops + salmon for the main course
An amazing meal to celebrate an evening with the Fiancée – give it a go!

Ugh – I hate leaving bad reviews. I think everyone in Bend is so kind we struggle to leave bad reviews. We want you to succeed! But – wow –
My second visit here. Focused on trying as many wines as I could on the first – liked one well enough I could envision drinking it by the glass in the future, the other 9 were really not my thing.
Tonight – food was fine, they were out of the one wine I wanted, and despite being dead they were also out toilet paper in the bathroom. How does that happen?
After politely doing my best with a meal and drink I regretted committing to, the server missed all cues that I was beyond ready to go – so my subpar experience was drawn out at the end.
Will no longer be recommending this spot. Given how quiet they were on a night when others were busy – plenty have noticed, and so few have actually shared. So – here’s a little honesty to save you from wasting your time.

This hit the spot after a long weekend of chores. The Cesar was delightful with the roasted Brussels sprouts in it. We also shared the Gnudi it was not a large size, but it was wonderfully delicious. Sharing the Caesar and that was perfect for two people. Photos of my drink and our dessert. (Dessert was a spin on an eclair.)
