Wow, what an experience! You arrive to the building and have to take an elevator up to the restaurant and are greeted with a beautiful vibe I wish I could have at my house. Low-lit lighting, foliage, and decor reminiscent of a coastal getaway. We met friends here for restaurant week and ordered off the tailored menu. For my order, the mocktail was a fun twist, the appetizer wasn’t a traditional salad but still delicious, the main was served on a beautiful sombrero plate, and the dessert filled me over the top! I loved that the Greek salad was essentially a block of cheese with tomatoes, (I even got to try something new, a caper berry) no complaints here! The main left a little to be desired as perhaps mashed potatoes could have been mixed differently but the pomegranate seeds complimented the small bit of short rib excellently. The date cake dessert was a fabulous new experience that kept me going spoonful after spoonful. Wow! So glad I got to have the Aba experience!

Aba is hands down the best Mediterranean spot I’ve ever gone to. I’ve traveled all over Israel, Lebanon, Greece, and Cyprus, eating everything from street food to hidden gems, and this place tops it all.We went once for dinner, loved it so much we came back next day for brunch. Service was spot on—super friendly staff that made it feel chill. Presentation was art on the plate and tasted otherworldly. The vibe was upscale but relaxed, just elite. Presentation and interior were breathtaking. Chicago folks, get to Aba. 5 stars no question.

From beginning to end, this place was an amazing experience. The host was very sweet and our server Jake was also incredibly nice + patient in describing the different menu options. We ordered a bit of everything – the whipped feta, which my husband said he can have everyday breakfast lunch and dinner for the rest of his life. We also got deep fried potatoes, steak and frittes and crispy chicken thighs. The dark chocolate dessert was a delight.

The ambiance here was top notch, so nice – in fact, I thought the prices on the menu were an incredible value. Thanks again Jake and whole Aba staff and kitchen for a memorable evening!

This is a great option if you are looking for a Mediterranean cuisine experience at West Loop. Make sure you have reservation because the place is fully booked almost every day.
The ambience is very cosy, from the decoration to the dimmed illumination, will make your experience intimate and memorable.
The rib humus and the chilli shrimps were the highlights of the night. The desert was delicious too and they also have a estense wine menu. A sommelier will help explore the options and give you good recommendations.
This a great restaurant. I am not surprised that it’s so trendy.

It’s a great place to come for restaurant week and get your money’s worth! The portions are shareable; super clutch to go with a group so you can try more items. The server seemed a bit annoyed idk why but overall a great experience!

Absolutely stunning restaurant! From the lush greenery and chic Mediterranean vibe to the warm, sun-drenched patio, Aba feels like a little coastal escape in the city. Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Chicago. Every dish was incredible — the Shawarma-spiced skirt steak & eggs was bursting with flavor, the Short Rib Shakshuka had just the right touch of spice and comfort, and the charred eggplant was smoky perfection. The truffled salmon and hamachi with charred avocado were fresh, light, and perfectly balanced. And don’t even get me started on the crème brûlée pie — absolutely to die for!

Pricey! But great service at the bar. Eddie is a cool, friendly server. I ordered the crispy chicken thighs and my partner order the steak frites. We took the green line here. The hostess was meh. I wouldn’t come back but I don’t regret trying this place. Ambiance is cool and dim-lit. Nice date spot or hang with friends. Keep in mind it’s busy on weekends.

Through and through this is a 5 star joint. The food is incredible, well plated and paired incredibly well with the bottle of orange wine. The garlic hummus is a must try, the pita was fresh, and the steak frites was cooked to perfect temperature. This is a must visit place for me everytime I’m in Chicago. Make sure to make a reservation, but if not, put in your name and go down the street to grab a drink, this spot is well worth the wait! A bit on the pricier side, but the food is definitely worth the cost! Great place for a business meal, or just to try out some small plates with your buddies!

We went to Aba for brunch and it was such a great experience! They recommend at least 4 items for 2 people, and every dish we tried was excellent and absolutely mouthwatering. The Mediterranean cuisine with a California influence makes the flavors so fresh and unique. Both the outdoor patio and indoor seating are beautiful , definitely a place worth visiting. I love their food and enjoyed every bite! Want to visit again during lunch time!

Aba in Chicago was absolutely incredible! Definitely one of the top restaurants I’ve ever enjoyed. We were a group of four and ordered about 10 dishes to share, and every single one was spot on. The garlic hummus, eggplant, potatoes, falafel, whipped feta, fries, brussels sprouts, scallops, pork belly, salmon, and steak were all bursting with flavor and tasted fresh and authentic. The standout for me was how balanced and thoughtfully prepared each dish was. The only thing that wasn’t my personal favorite was the added sweetness in the Brussels sprouts, I’m more of a savory girlie and prefer salty over sweet, but that’s just me. The ambiance was lovely, lively, and warm, with such a great vibe throughout the night. Between the food, service, and atmosphere, Aba truly lives up to the hype and is a must-visit spot in Chicago!!
