Old Key Lime House truly captures that traditional Florida Keys vibe from the moment you arrive. The outdoor seating is abundant and varied, with beautiful waterfront views that make the experience feel relaxed and coastal. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, enjoy the breeze, and soak in the scenery.
The menu features classic American coastal favorites — fresh seafood, laid-back comfort dishes, and all the flavors you’d expect from a true Florida waterfront spot. They also offer a great selection of local draft beers, which perfectly complement the seafood and enhance the authentic Florida experience.
The atmosphere is lively yet welcoming, with great vibes and a genuinely friendly staff that adds to the overall experience.
They offer complimentary valet parking, which is a nice touch and very convenient. Just be prepared for a wait — at least 30 minutes for a table during busy times. It’s popular for a reason!
One of the standout features is the kids’ play area and playground, which is rare to find these days and makes it a fantastic option for families.
Overall, a fun, vibrant waterfront spot that’s well worth the visit.

Definitely worth going..
Live music by the tiki bar.
Had firepits for the close breezy air.
Wifey had the caesar salad topped with seafood and I had crab cake sandwich $25 which can with one side.

I will say that my crab cake was small but was excellent (no filler).

You can have seating which overlooks the water.

The hostess quoted 1 hr and 30 minutes wait but we chose to sit at tables in the tiki bar which was no wait. No difference in seating.

Beautiful waterfront atmosphere and really good food. The Bam Bam shrimp were perfectly crispy and full of flavor, and the mahi tacos were fresh and delicious. It is a bit on the pricey side, and unfortunately the service wasn’t great, which took away from the experience. Still, the location and quality of the food make it a place worth visiting.

It was a ‘cooler’ Florida day but we sat outside by the water and had wonderful views. Service was attentive and friendly. We both ordered tacos, shrimp and mahi and both were fresh and very tasty. Best part of visit was the key lime pie! It is better than any I have had in the Keys. Next time I will have the pie first 🙂

What (casual) fun! Went there for the first time yesterday with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. Something like five bars, multiple levels, lots of South Florida charm, on the water, views, breeze, and happy hour drinks. I would have taken pictures of the shrimp but we ate them too fast. Arthur the upstairs bartender was nice and accommodating. They had a band that rocked and everyone had a good time. I will definately go back.

The food, the service and atmosphere is outstanding. Live band was playing and we all ate by the water. Very cool breeze feeling weather wise and otherwise. Nice little gift shop selling T’s, hats, decals and more. Server was great, the Mahi Mahi sandwich was very good, the Grouper sandwich was very good too. We could not leave until we each had a slice of the Key Lime pie which is amazing.

The food was 2/5, but the atmosphere, service, and key lime pie made up for it.

Pros:
– Atmosphere. It’s a huge place with different areas for whatever you’re looking for. Water front, water side, inside, outside, shade, sun, bar, under a fan, no fan, someplace cold, someplace hot, whatever you want.
– Service. Our server Ginny was great.

Cons:
– The food. The vast majority of their options are fried and pub-style options. Their salads were mediocre at best.
– The presentation. Some of the dishes tasted great but they looked horrendous. Presentation would help to flip this around.
– No menu online
– Terrible website

If you’re coming for the food, go someplace else. If you’re coming for the pie, this is the place!!

May I suggest adding an online menu and updating your website? It’s a bit frustrating to look at menus from Google Maps and then show up to a completely different menu at the table. And your website need a refresh.

Firefighters gathering. Most food was good. The coconut shrimp was a disappointment. Did not taste like coconut and shrimp was small. It was like eating an empty shell. They gave large Key lime portions to share complimentary. That was amazing . If I knew it was that good, I would have had that to eat instead. The service was alot for one waitress. Had to wait for drink to come ask 2x. When I got it was watery and warm. Then ask for straw, she forgot me. So the martini was terrible.

Fun atmosphere, live music when we were there. Great food and service. Beautiful waterfront location on the intracoastal. Feeding the catfish is fun for the kids, and grownups too.
Indie and outdoor seating, even on a moored boat.
